Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

I just made these cookies and I have to say they are the best chocolate chip cookies I have found. I have made dozens of chocolate chip cookies over the years and these top them all. The hubby and 15 year old grandson inhaled them. There are other recipes I have made recently, but this will be my choice from now on.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

This chocolate chip cookie is so-o-o good. You have to try it. My teenage grand kids love them. I have a hard time keeping them and their Grandpa out of the dough. Definitely 5 stars !!!

Lemon Meringue Pie III

I made this pie for Mothers Day. I followed the recipe exactly for the filling and meringue. This was a Wonderful Pie.... My cousin said it tasted just like her Mothers Lemon Pie, which was a great compliment. Wanted to bring some home,but it was Gone. I can't wait to make this again. We have to have company or I would eat it all !!

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread I

Let me say that this is one of the best banana bread recipes I have made, and I have made quite a few over the years. I didn't make any changes. I thought it was going to be a flop because our power went off with about 15 minutes left, but fortunately it wasn't out for long and I left the oven shut and once the power came back it finished baking just took a little longer, but the finished product is really good!! Will definitely make again.

Blueberry Cream Muffins

These muffins are so-o-o good. I just made them and had to taste one right away. I did let them cool a bit. I only made half the recipe,and that's probably a good idea because I have no will power and would eat way too many. I did follow the recipe exactly, other than cutting it in half. Will definitely make these again.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

O.K., I just made this for dinner tonight. I maybe didn't use the exact amounts for the seasonings, but I did use the same ingredients. I just increased them a bit. I really liked it, but I love balsamic vinegar. My hubby said it was good. He wasn't' as keen on it as I was, but he did like it. I sliced the chicken into strips, and cooked it as the recipe said, and I served it over a plate of spaghetti noodles. We had a mixed vegetable salad and bread sticks, and a glass of Syrah wine(or was that two glasses), anyway, it was very good, and I will make it again.

New Duchess Spice Cake with Maple Buttercream Frosting

The maple frosting is wonderful !! I made some pumpkin cupcakes and thought this icing would compliment them. WOW! It really did. My hubby thought it was maybe a little strong on the maple flavor, but he really liked them the next day. It is sweet, but hey, it's frosting. I will definitely make this again.

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for a family party. I was doing too many things at the same time and didn't realize I had missed the baking soda until the cupcakes were in the oven. Yikes! I couldn't wait to taste one as soon as they were out of the oven to see if they were ok. Yum,Yum! End of story. Everyone loved them. I plan on making these again and will include baking soda.

Ed Zieba's Famous Family Pork Chops

This is very good..It's so quick and easy. I only had 3 boneless pork chops, but I used the same amount of water, also I used seasoning salt on both sides of the chops, and as another person suggested, I threw in some broccoli for the last 30 minutes. These pork chops were so moist. Wil definitely make again..

Mock Caprese Salad

My hubby and I really liked this. The only change I made was to reduce the amount of balsamic vinegar by just a little. I did use coarse ground sea salt and coarse ground pepper also. Very Good!! Will definitely make again. Maybe tomorrow!!

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are so-o-o good.. I just finished making them and am chewing on one at this moment. I have made LOTS of chocolate chip cookies over the years and am always looking for the best one. Well, this is it. I think it's important to use quality chocolate chips, real vanilla and butter when making cookies. I did increase the vanilla to 2+ Tablespoons, but everything else was as stated in the recipe. Now if I can keep my hubby out of the dough!!! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Brown Butter Cookies

These cookies are Wonderful !!! I didn't frost them. Even my hubby who loves all things sweet, said he didn't think they needed the extra sweetness. I just had one with my morning coffee.. YUM....I doubt if these are on Weight Watchers...

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

I have been making pies for 45 years(started cooking in wheat harvest when I got married), and was making what I thought was a very good crust. Everyone loves my pies. I had a dinner party last night, so I decided to try Ruth's Grandma's Crust. WOW! It was fantastic. I have never used egg in my crust before, but I love to try new receipes so I went for it. I made a Banana Cream and a Chocolate Cream Pie. My sister who also makes great pies and crust, had to have the receipe. Everyone raved about how good the crust was. Fig and Olive Tapenade

This is Great. I served it a dinner party and everyone loved it, even people who didn't have a clue what tapenade was couldn't keep away from it. I did make it the day before so the flavors could blend. I will be making this again.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

This is so-o-o good ! I made it for a family gathering. My sister couldn't leave it alone. She was supposed to be cutting it into slices for everyone, but was sneaking bites as she did it. We all loved it, and I will make it again. Soon....
