Twice-Baked New Potatoes

These potatoes were so delicious! The only change I made was by using the biggest red potatoes I could find which led to a longer cooking time but it was well worth it!! Can wait to eat the leftovers later!!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

I should have read more of the reviews before trying this recipe. I was excited because of all the stars but I won't be making this again. I wanted a more traditional apple pie with cinnamon and nutmeg so I added it to the apples but that wasn't the problem I had. The problem was with the sugars and butter. It came out to be more of a blob. The flavor just wasn't there and the blob didn't do anything for me. I'll be trying another recipe next time for sure.

Swordfish a la Siciliana

This dish was simply delicious! I was unsure of the combination of ingredients but they went well together. I followed the recipe closely except for a few changes. I used olives from the olive bar at my grocery store, used a large red onion, doubled the garlic and instead of swordfish I used shark. I was interested in trying something different and was told that shark was close to swordfish. The meal went well with some cous-cous and fresh steamed veggies. Totally saving this recipe and can't wait to make again!

KNUDSEN Chicken and Biscuits

Very yummy! I made some changes like adding some onions and milk to the mixture along with using a rotiserrie chicken. The mixture just seemed too thick even after the sour cream and adding milk helped it become more creamy. For the biscuits I used biscuick mixed with, parmesan cheese, sour cream, onions, milk and mild cheddar cheese. Instead of making 6 seperate biscuits I just spread the bisquick mixture over the creamy chicken mixture. To prevent burning it I put the baking dish on top of a cookie sheet with a 1/4 inch of water. Since there was so much left over mixture I made a seperate container to freeze and even that turned out great weeks later. Will definetly make again!!
