Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
I've tried various pancake recipes for YEARS. These were the most delicious ever -- and the simplest recipe.

Beef Steaks With Blue Cheese

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
Unbelievably spectacular1 I served this to a dinner party of 20 last night, to rave reviews (of course, it helped that hubby grilled the beef perfectly). For a large crowd, I bought 2 whole beef tenderloins at Sam's and asked them to slice it all to the appropriate thickness. For the croutons, I bought a bag of the day-old French bread toasts that they sell at the grocery and crumbled them, then followed the instructions from there (used much less olive oil, not that saving fat or calories is the point in this delicious recipe).

very, very good. Added more of the brown sugar mix for topping. A great side with ham.

Sangria Ham

Spectacular! I did need to tent it lightly. Used a bottle of TJ 3 buck chuck instead of sangria, with the pineapple juice, very tasty.

Peach Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2006
Just plain delicious. So easy, and a beautiful finished product. LOVE the low cooking temp -- I accidentally baked my for about an extra 20 min. & just turned a lovely caramel brown on top. Used about 3/4 cup sugar, and was just sweet enough. My mom & grandma's peach pie recipe is now history ....

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
Very tasty, a bit rich & sweet for first thing in the a.m. I think I use less maple sugar & less cream cheese next time. Almost a blueberry cobbler!

Pat's Award Winning Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
BEST CARROT CAKE EVER! I baked this in a Pampered chef stoneware bundt pan and I think that only increased the moistness. I added a drizzle icing made from canned cream cheese icing, baby food carrots and vanilla (all to taste, whisk & warm to get a drizzle consistency.) THANKS, Pat! This was the star of Easter dinner today.

Broccoli Casserole II

Very good with fresh broccoli, only needed to bake 45 min. A big hit at the Easter dinner with ham and a potato casserole.

Very moist and yummy -- hubby ate three servings! Mine didn't need to cook for quite an hour -- 50 minutes.

Nice and crisp, but a smidge eggier than I like in waffles

FABULOUS! I won't be able to make this too often -- I can't stay out it even cold! I don't think it needs quite as much shredded cheese. I've already forwarded this to several friends.

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2001
Best-tasting cut-out cookie I've ever made. This is just the flavor, texture and sweetness I like. Not too crisp, not to dry. I use small amounts of flour during rolling and keep remainder refridgerated while not rolling. I've been testing cut-out recipes to find the one for me and this is it!!
