Chinese Chews II

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
My mom used to make these and we couldn't remember the name. Well I typed coconut into allrecipes one day to find a dessert recipe and up it popped. I was so happy. I love pecan pie, but most of the time it's so daunting to make. This is easy, and you can always use pecans in place of the walnuts. And my crust turned out perfectly. Just get in there with your hands and really mush it together. Make sure to let them sit for awhile either at room temperature or in the fridge. Miss impatient me had to grab a piece 30 minutes after they came out. Tasted amazing, but was a little runny. I put the rest in the fridge for two hours and they were fantastic. Try this recipe!!!

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2010
This turned out so good. I put the frosting in the microwave for 1 minute. I only had one vanilla pudding mix, so I did 1 vanilla, and 1 pistacio. And I only had strawberry whipped topping so I used that. It was amazing. How can something this simple taste so good?! I will keep pondering that thought while I chow down. Try this recipe!!!

Special Cereal Bars I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2010
Theses were great. I used chunky peanut butter in the syrup mixture. And instead of melting the chocolate chips I sprinkled butterscotch chips over and then melted frosting and poured it over. Really good.

Octoberfest German Potato Salad

Really good, I used an extra tablespoon of honey and I added a tablespoon of dijon mustard. Very good. Also works good as a chicken salad dressing.

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
This is a great sauce. I did add a little more sugar at the end, I like my sweet and sour sauce more sweet. And I followed a reviewers advice to do flour/water instead of cornstarch. Worked perfectly! And I did the 1/4 cup ketchup. The only thing I didn't do was the pineapple juice cause that is currently chilling in the fridge for my punch tonight! But it turned out great. Thanks for the recipe.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
Perfect dessert if you don't like chocolate overload. I like normal chocolate brownies, but I get sick to my stomach if there's too much chocolate. This is perfect, and you can change what type of chips to use on top. I thought Heath bar bits would be wonderful on top too. I'll try that next time. Great dessert, try it!
