Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls
I'm SOOOO glad I found this recipe!! I made the dough today right by the recipe and it was very easy and very yummy. I made 2 sizes...sandwich buns and dinner rolls. We'll have hamburgers tonight and dinner rolls tomorrow night. As another reviewer suggested, I used the ring of a wide-mouth Mason jar to cut out the hamburger rolls. I just pinched off equal sized pieces of the remaining dough to form the dinner rolls. I don't think you need to roll the dough to 3/4" thick for the buns, however. I rolled it less than 1/2" thick, and the rolls are just the right size. I have a large family, and it's expensive when we all get together for cookouts. Making homemade rolls is a delicious cost-saver. Thank you SEEFREE for a delicious recipe that I will use often!

Holiday Cranberry Sauce
I used this recipe this Thanksgiving, and it was a big hit! I substituted orange juice for the water, and cut the sugar to 1 1/2 C. I also doubled the recipe so I'd have some leftovers. I put some of the leftovers in jars in the freezer to serve later with ham or sausage, and kept the rest to put on bagels with cream cheese for breakfast. The texture is very similar to cranberry preserves...not completely gelled like the canned version. I really enjoyed it.

Spinach Quiche
Loved the recipe, EXCEPT the idea of the 1/2 C of butter. Instead, I used about 1 1/2 T of olive oil....it was plenty to sauté the veggies, and the quiche was not oily at all. I also used fresh mushrooms instead of canned, and I sauted them along with the garlic and onion. I also pre-baked my pie crust for 7 minutes to make sure it got nice and crisp. Minor changes, but they make a big difference in the outcome. Because my husband isn't crazy about Feta, I cut that in half. This is delicious....I just finished a piece for lunch, and I wish I had some more!!
