Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
First of all, the Ingredient changes I made are as follows: I bought Smucker's Caramel Sundae Syrup, Heath Toffee Bits, heavy whipping cream, and I also used the French Vanilla Cool Whip in place of the plain (12 oz), and deleted the 8oz Cool Whip. Everything else was the same. I baked a regular brownie package in a 7x11 dish to make the brow nies come out thinner for layering. Then in a separate bowl I whipped 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks. I mixed the pudding, water, and condensed milk thoroughly in another bowl then folded in the cream with the pudding/water mix. In a triffle bowl I layered brownies (just cut & crumbled to make them fit), caramel, chocolate whipped cream, french vanilla cool whip, and then Heath toffee bits; Repeat! This was a MAJOR hit with everyone...especially the kids!! I'm adding this one to the recipe box...EASY & DELISH!

Sour Cream Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
I made this for Easter Sunday dinner and doubled the recipe since we have a large extended family. I used Kraft's Philadelphia Three Cheese (monterey jack, colby, & cheddar chees with cream cheese variety) and added an extra cup (for 3 cups total) after reading the reviews. The potatoes I bought were the fresh (not frozen) cubed potatoes that already had onion added so that saved a step for me...I'll definately use the same thing next time as it made this recipe extremely quick to make. EVERYONE raved over these potatoes and my sister-in-law even asked for the recipe. I would recommend these for a quick & easy recipe for scalloped potatoes and will make them again & again. Thanks for sharing!!

Spiderweb Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
Made this for the first time right before Halloween and it was so good I'm making another one for Thanksgiving...minus the spider & web of course. Easy to make but does take a while, so you should plan accordingly if needed for an occasion. I didn't have much success in the spiderwebs, even after 3 attempts. But the cheesecake is fabulous & I loved the sour cream topping!
