Sorry had to babysit by 3 yr old grand-daughter today, and she is a handfull.  When you are a widower a cute 3 year old grand-daughter is just as good as having a red sports car at age 18.    When women approach us in the grocery store and compliment on how cute she is and ask her name she responds with "Grandpas chick magnet".  Just goes to show that girls  can be well trained if you catch them young enough.

She taught me a new word today "Wataupe" a noun meaning a large quantity of urine.  usage " Grandpa, theres a Wataupe in my potty."

Spent 80000 miles on Amtrak between 2006 and 2010 I think that will be tomorrows theme.  "Amtrak and Whistle Stops"

Dogs work but you can't take them into the grocery store where the chicks are. I use to read the mens magazine articles on where to meet women. Didn't work out to well. I read the women's magazines articles on where to meet men. Works better now that I go to where I am supposed to be. ;)
