As my name suggests, I'm a working mom. I LOVE to cook. Yes, even on those nights when I'm rushing home from work, with nothing really prepared ahead of time... maybe I'm a bit of an Adrenaline junkie too? This spring, I decided to take the “hundred mile challenge” – where I would source as much foodstuff as I could from within one hundred miles or less from home. I’ve met some amazing people in this venture. Including the Hendricks Family, where I get my milk, eggs, pork, and the most awesome cheeses you’d imagine.

I’ve been haunting the Lansdale farmers Market as well as the Skippack Farmers market and we bought a chest freezer and I’ve been buying local-chemical free produce all summer and stocking up for winter as well.
