Poke Cake III

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
I made it a double layer cake with 2 round 8 inch cake pans. After baking the cake and adding the jello I let it sit in the fridge overnight. In the morning, I trimmed the tops of the cake then added some of the cherry and whipped cream. Added the second layer and repeat. Added strawberries and blueberries to make it festive for the 4th of July.

Creamed Eggs on Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
All these years I thought I had a special family recipe. And yet here it is. My family calls it Eggs La Goldenrod. We don't add the meat just make the gravy, add salt and pepper, chopped hard boiled egg and serve over toast. I will have to try it with meat now after seeing it!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
I loved this recipe! Followed the recipe exactly using Guiness for the beer, and it was perfect. Easy to put together and comes out of the crock pot juicy and ready to eat. Hubby and kids loved it too, will be making again!
