Savory Grilled Potatoes

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Neither my wife nor I had tried this dish before, so we weren't sure what to expect. Wow...was this good! Here are the changes I made: added 1 egg and an extra clove of garlic (omitted the wine); cooked the bacon, added onions, then the garlic; mixed the eggs with the parmesan cheese; drained the spaghetti and added it to a large bowl, then added the bacon/onion/garlic mixture (be sure to scrape in the drippings, then toss), finally added the egg mixture and tossed well. Served with parmesan and chopped parsley on top. This is definitely a new favorite.

Authentic Mexican Tortillas

These are great! It took some practice to get it right, but it was well worth the time. They get better each time I make them. I use near boiling water and mix it up in the stand mixer.

Grilled Potatoes and Onion

Very good! I've been making this for years and never get tired of it. I always make it on the grill using the foil method. Be sure to get the potato slices thin - I use the slicer blade on the food processor. Also, I mix all the ingredients in a large bowl before I put them on the foil (which I hit with cooking spray first). Never had a problem with the potatoes sticking...

Big Guy Strawberry Pie

This is an excellent pie! We picked up a good-sized basket of fresh stawberries from the farmer's market and were looking for some recipes to try. Glad we tried this one. Just a note - I had make up some extra glaze since I didn't have enough.

Deviled Eggs I

We didn't like these at all. Way too much paprika! Weird color, like others have mentioned. Go for a different version.

Buffalo Chicken Wings I

These wings are great! Instead of frying, we baked them (400 degrees for 50-60 min). Also, we used "Frank's RedHot" sauce, and added a dash of Worcestershire, and about a 1/2 tbsp of honey. Good stuff!!
