IF I make this soup again... I liked the basic ingredients and the ease, but we found it a bit too salty. I used low
sodium beef broth even, but next time would omit the 1/4 tsp. salt too, and even look for no-salt added stewed tomatoes. Italian sausage is salty enough. I'd drain the sausage well before adding the other ingredients, and I'd drain (and rinse) the beans before adding, because I could taste the bean sauce in the soup - don't care for that taste. I knew hubby would pick out the spinach, so didn't add that.
