Ground Beef Stroganoff

The original recipe is bland. Instead of beef broth I used white cooking wine, I upped the sour cream to 3/4's cup and sour cream to 1/4 cup. I added a can of cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper and thyme. I think what really made the difference was the wine. It's an okay recipe with a bit of tweaking.

Great Easy Waffles

Without the lemon, this is a good, basic waffle recipe. I like to make freezer waffles: I make the waffles as directed, I line them up on a cookie sheet lined with Parchment Paper and freeze them for a few hours, when frozen, I pop them off into a zip lock bag. And when I want to eat them, I just stick them in the toaster for a homemade "ego" waffle. These last good frozen for 2 months, thought people might like this idea!

Sunny Orange Lemonade

I left the peels out because I just don't like peel in my drinks but I LOVE this! I served it at a family bbq and it was a hit with everyone. I have made this multiple times and had no issues and will keep making it again! Tip: It is easier to make at night and you will then wake up to a refreshing drink, it takes awhile to cool down all the way

Crispy Baked French Toast

For the most part I liked this recipe surprisingly a lot! I gave it 4 stars for I made one change: Instead of melting the butter and oil and cooking the bread in it, I left that out and just sprayed a cookie sheet with Pam and decreased the time to 10 minutes on each side. I think next time I will add cinnamon or nutmeg to the egg batter for a little more "kick"

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

I am in love with this recipe, it reminds me of what my grandma used to do for her tuna noodle casserole. I only wish it would use real Tuna instead of canned Tuna that way it is really fresh and old school but I have no clue how to do that! I always add a bit more garlic in this recipe and spray the dish with cooking spray instead of butter. This dish re-heats well the next day in a microwave so great for "sack lunch at work"

Valentino's Pizza Crust

I loved this crust! I added rosemary and oregano when mixing in the olive oil. After I flattened it on my pizza stone, I added basil on top. Then for the pizza: I spread some pizza sauce on it, topped with spinach leaves, some chopped up garlic, then mozzarella cheese, then cooked sausage, pineapple and tomatoes. I baked it for 20 minutes and it came out perfectly!

Swiss Chicken

This recipe is plain and does not have a lot of "kick" to it. Instead of water, I used white wine and added salt and pepper at the table and Parmesan cheese made it taste a bit better. It needs some sort of spice, I just couldn't figure out what, but it needs something! This recipe is good if you want an easy to make quick meal but don't expect much.

Horseradish Pork Chops

This came out with a distinct flavor and tasted wonderful. The only problem I saw was that I pulled the pork chops out 5 minutes early and they were dry and overdone, but that is easily fixed. Overall, a solid recipe with some tweaking of the cooking time/heat.

Leftover Chicken a la King

This was ok, a little bland and I had to add 3 tsp. more cornstarch to make it thicker otherwise it would be way too runny. But it is a great recipe when you want a quick meal and don't feel like making a mess (only uses 1 saucepan and 1 small bowl)
