Amish White Bread
I have made this bread many times now without any issues what so ever. I live in ohio and the flour amount is perfect. This makes me about 2 bread pan sized monster loaves or one really long bread pan loaf. I use half the amount of sugar thats called for in the recipe as my goal is sandwich bread. I also use about 2 tbs of yeast instead of 1 1/2 it gives it a slightly stronger yeast taste like you get in store bought bread. I have started using grapeseed oil instead of veg simce istaying away from gmo's. Olive oil is too heave, it makes it dense. I make this in a bread machine so i add the water, salt, sugar and oil first then the flour on top, and finally the yeast. I set it to dough which mixes and rests for about an hour and a half. Then i put it in the pan and rise again. No hand or mixer kneeding, no proofing the yeast. Its so simple! We dont buy store bread anymore. This is perfect.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole
THe first time i made this i thought the flavor was a little bland.. i normally cook with a lot of spices so im sure that was just my prefrence. The second time i made this, i used the recipe as a base.. i ended up adding 1 lb of sausage, cubed ham, bacon, onions and 2 cubbed potatos as well. i also added sage, garlic and onion powder to the mix as well. y guy doesnt like much cheese so we only used about a half cup of cheese in the mix. Left over night to absorb, by morning it was nicely puffed up and all the liquid was absorbed. It baked up perfectly and my guy loved it.. he was reluctant at first because he doesnt like trying new things but he has since requested it again. 4 stars because i thought the origionaly was a bit bland but a great base for personalization!

Fluffy Pancakes
When a pancake is done right, you dont even need syrup. This is that recipe. I always seperate my egg yolk from the white so i can beat the white before adding it in so i did that but i didnt change the recipe at all. I threw some chocolate chips on for my 1 year old son and sprinkled a little powdered sugar on top and he finally ate his breakfast without complaining! This on is a keeper!
