Mediterranean Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2015
I read many of the reviews and did add more liquid. Also added sliced zucchinis, chopped artichokes, Middle Eastern green olives, slices of lemon, sliced yellow and orange peppers. It is delicious and should be the crowd pleaser. Thanks for a great recipe!

Maria's Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2014
Made the rice exactly as in the recipe. The only thing that got changed is that I did not have tomato sauce. Instead I used 1/2 can of Campbell's tomato soup that was in the fridge dying to have a purpose. We all loved the rice. Went great with our chili con carne, tortillas and nachos.

Fudge Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2014
I used semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted with a bit of butter. Then added a bit of boiling water (I always use less of liquids and add more if need be), no sugar, a bit of corn syrop, no vanilla. I want it moderately liquidy to add over ice cream. Should be delicious.

Great Nana's Secret Ingredient Date Nut Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2014
There is no way that you should put 1 3/4 cup of coffee in this cake. Way too liquidy. I put in a bit more than 3/4 of coffee and it was sufficient. Also brought the heat to 375f and baked for 40-45 minutes. Maybe next time would add more nuts. Liked the end results. Thanks.

Coconut Macaroons III

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2014
They are delicious. Do not overbake and I used parchment paper at the bottom on the cookie sheet. Made them quite a bit smaller than the recipe called for so 1 batch made at least 50 cookies. Put a quartered piece of maraschino cherry on each one to dress them up. Will make again and again!

Matrimonial Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
Definitely made with butter makes them better. I did not add sugar to the dates, really not needed as they are sweet enough as is. I added orange rind to the oatmeal mixture, adds a very good taste. We always called these date squares but as my daughter has asked me to make all the desserts for her wedding, we will be keeping the name "matrimonial squares" for the occasion.

Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
I made this cake exactly as in the recipe. Was quite dry and not at all moist and rich. Will not make again.
