Bread Machine Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
WOW WOW WOW!! I've tried DOZENS of pizza dough recipes looking for that perfect one, and I finally found it. The beer is what makes this recipe so good, and that's coming from someone who HATES beer! This dough is very yeasty and rises up very nicely. I followed the advice of a few other reviews and pre-baked for about 5 mins, though I could have probably done longer. I brushed it with mushroom and sage infused olive oil beforehand. YUM! Also, I made one 12 inch pizza on my pizza stone and the crust was very thick and soft. I easily could have made two pizzas with thinner crusts. And to think, all I did was throw everything in the bread maker! I WILL be making this recipe again and again and again!

Hawaiian Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
This is, by far, my favorite bread recipe EVER. I have made so many loaves and they come out PERFECT every time. The pineapple is what really makes this bread. I keep meaning to save some to make french toast... but it's usually gone the very next day!! Yum yum!!

English Muffin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
Easy and delicious!! BETTER than english muffins. This bread had a wonderfully crispy crust with a chewy center. Sliced and toasted with fresh tomato and provolone cheese... yum yum!!

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
This recipe makes delicious cinnamon buns! The first batch I made I skipped coating the pan with butter and brown sugar and they turned out perfect. The second time, I followed the instructions completely. I felt that they were too heavy. Letting them sit in the mixture while they rose made the bottoms very soggy. I will still make this recipe again, but I will do what I did the first time and leave out the pan coating.

Buttercream Icing

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
This icing is tasty and easy to work with! I added a little bit of almond extract to give it a little more flavor. I found that if you're going to color this icing it becomes a little too soft if you also add the milk. The second batch I made I doubled the recipe, but only had to use about 6 1/2 cups of powdered sugar to achieve the desired consistency.
