Angela's Oriental Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
This was very tasty. I doubled the recipe, so we had some leftover, and it was even better the next day, after the flavors had blended. I also added chicken bouillon to the water (since I didn't have chicken broth on hand), and also used shredded lettuce instead of bok choy (a little mushier, but still good). My four year old liked it enough to finish one small bowl - and as finicky as she is, that's saying something! My hubby loved it. Quick and easy, and de'lish - will make again!

Ranch Crispy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2012
This was really good, my picky eight year old asked for seconds - that makes it a keeper! I followed the recipe but also used an egg as others suggested. I also used thin chicken breasts which made it very flavorful (and faster to cook). Will definitely make again.

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
My family loves this dish. I've made it with canned tomatoes, and dried basil, and have found that it tastes better if you use fresh tomatoes and basil, but that's just a personal preference. The flavors are great together.

Crispy Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
I was a little bit nervous about this one due to the mustard (my daughter hates mustard) but you could barely even taste it, and the overall flavor with the potato flakes was amazing! Will definitely make this again (I used flounder and it came out perfectly).

Grilled Asian Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
This was good. I didn't grill it, but baked instead, 325 for about 35 minutes, and had marinated the chicken for about 7 hours. Family really liked the flavor, will make again.

Super Simple Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
I've made this several times, and it's always excellent. I don't go by the measurements, just sprinkle the seasonings on each side of the fish, and it's always great. Even our picky seven year old likes it.

Pan-Seared Tilapia

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
This was excellent. I followed others suggestions and added a little onion powder, and garlic salt, and the flavor with the butter was amazing. My very picky six year old had two helpings!! That's unheard of in our house. This will definitely be added to our rotation.

Super Easy Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2010
These were excellent. Followed another reviewer's suggestion and dipped the chicken pieces in egg, then seasoned bread crumbs, and baked at 425 for 25 minutes (turning twice). My chicken pieces were thick, so they took slightly longer to bake, but they were very tender and juicy. Family loved it.

Roasted New Potatoes

Really good. I didn't have any garlic, so I used garlic powder, and also threw in a little minced onion. Came out perfectly, will make again.

This was an interesting way to have hamburgers and my family really liked them. Nice change of pace from buns.

Tater-Topped Dogs

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
This was really good - my husband was skeptical, but then he ate three! (and so did I) I didn't use buns, just hot dogs (split), with the potatoes, and shredded cheese, with mustard and ketchup. Six year old liked it too. And super easy - perfect!

Mexican Rice I

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2009
All I had was Minute Rice, which I cooked in chicken broth, with a little vegetable oil, then mixed the cooked rice with all the ingredients from this recipe (except I used fresh diced tomato instead of canned). It was a huge hit, my family loved it! Will definitely make again.

Hamburgers and Ketchup Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
I've made this twice now, and both times I added an egg, like others suggested, and my patties stayed together pretty well. The first time I made this, I stuck to the recipe, except for the egg, but found I didn't have much gravy at the end. The 2nd time, I added a cup of beef broth, and halved the ketchup, and it was plenty of gravy, and everyone loved it (even my picky 5 year old). Hubby likes it so much, he said he'll never go back to 'regular' meatloaf again.

Scalloped Cheese Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
Very good...I followed others advice and used one can cr of mushroom, one can cr of chicken, and mixed a little sour cream in too (a dollup), and they were delicious. Also, left them in for about 75 to 80 minutes so the potatoes would be tender (and they weren't mushy, they were just right..they weren't the only thing in the oven, though). Everyone cleaned their plates, and some had seconds. I was skeptical about the sharp cheddar, but I went with it, and I liked it (wasn't too sharp, but not bland at all). Will make again!

Broccoli Tomato Cups

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
I made these today for Christmas dinner, and they were a HUGE HIT! Everyone loved the tomatoes, and they looked so pretty and festive. The tomatoes, bread crumbs, and butter, were a perfect compliment to the broccoli. It was delicious. This might just become a staple to our Christmas dinners!

Honey Butter Yule Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
Very good, this was a hit at my Christmas dinner. We cooked our ham for 3 hours (it was small) and basted it with the glaze several times, and everyone loved it. Also, I did cover it with aluminum foil, and added some water to the pan. Will make again.

Quick Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: May 29, 2008
This is the perfect working Mom's dinner - it's fast, easy, not too many ingredients, and really yummy. Even my very picky four year old liked it (only had one serving, but she cleaned her plate!). I just made it all on the stove in one big pot, and added some fried onions to the top of mine and my husband's - really good. Will definitely make again :)

Sesame Broccoli

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
This was really good, my four year old didn't care for it (and she usually loves broccoli, if it's plain), but hubby and I loved it. The sesame oil soaked into the broccoli pieces and they melted in your mouth. Yum, will make again....
