I'm an army wife. So I live on a tight budget. Its amazing how far one whole chicken can go if you have the proper knife handling skills and cooking skills! Even though I hats baking sweets I seem to be very good st it. I often bake for frg and army events. I also bake just to give some of the guys a special treat for the day! I love my army family! do to my husbands lung problem he has from Hopkins's lymphoma he is getting med boarded so soon we plan on moving to Nashville so I can go back to school and learn new amazing cooking skills! my dream is to become a professional chef! Wish me luck!
My cooking triumphs
How whenever I bake for frg cookouts and events my food seems to be the first gone! If I didn't know better I would think people watch to see what I bring!
My cooking tragedies
Omb! Where can I begin?! I seem to fail at home made Mac and cheese Jo matter what! Id love to know what I'm doing so wrong!

Homemade Vanilla Pudding
ok. the proper way to make pudding... add milk, sugar, and salt to sauce pan stir until sugar is dissolved at medium- med. high heat. in the mean time wisk 3 egg yokes with the corn starch. when the milk mixture starts to boil temper egg cornstarch mix. add to milk mixture and heat until thickened(180 degrees)remove from heat, wisk in butter and vanilla. there you have it folks, lump free and proper pudding. oh and u may want to strain if you have any burnt chunks

Chili Rellenos Casserole
this was wonderful and I truly loved it! i used the enchilada sauce over the tomato and used a smaller pan then suggested. i also used diced chilies. i used 2 whole eggs and added one egg white. fallowed the cooking times and turned out very tasty! thank you for the recipe and thanks for the tips as well! i will be making this again

Monster Cookies I
i thought i was going to break my kitchen aid mixer! lol! i have never made anything that filled the bowl! my husband and i had problems mixing in the candies but thats how it is with this type of batter. i should have listened to the other reviews makes a ton of cookies!! cut it down unless u need a bunch!
