Classic Fried Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
Better than most take-out places! I never thought I could make fried rice at home! This is seriously good! This is good for a side dish OR add chicken/shrimp/steak and you've got a meal! Thanks! I think this is my FAVORITE recipe on this site!

Pepper Steak Packet

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
Super easy & very versatile! I usually only cook these for 20-30 minutes on a medium-high heat gas grill, and they are med. well to well done. I serve this with "Classic Fried Rice" from this website. Delicious! The whole family loves this meal!

Penne in Vodka Cream

Delicious & romantic! The little bit of heat from the red pepper flake is great! I followed the recipe to the T, and it turned out great.

Moe's Fabulous Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
Creamy & comforting! The hint of nutmeg is surprisingly good! I didn't have whole milk, so I used 1/4 cup 2% milk and 1/4 cup whipping cream. These will definitely become a staple side dish.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
My husband & kids really liked this chicken, BUT I thought it was a little bland. I was also a little disappointed that the chicken didn't get very cripsy. That said, it was very easy to prepare and the family enjoyed it.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
First off, I am NOT a fan of pork... but this was actually REALLY good! The pork was tender & moist, and the gravy was heavenly! I would've given it 5 stars, but it was a touch too salty. Next time I'll see if there is a lower sodium gravy mix. Definitely use burgundy wine as the title suggests!

Beef Bourguignon II

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
This is a great comforting meal! I used a burgundy wine, and fresh onions & mushrooms (I didn't have the canned). I served it with egg noodles, but will probably do mashed potatoes next time! Thanks for such an easy & delicious meal!

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
My 4 year old daughter was SO excited to try these! She thought they needed more honey, but I thought they turned out great! I served these with a spicy chicken entree and they were a perfect compliment!

Cajun Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
This chicken was pretty good. Not as much flavor as I was expecting though. Would be good in a salad, quesadilla, or sandwich.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
Super easy and tastes great! I work 12 hour shifts, so I can turn this on low when I leave for work. When I get home I just shred the chicken and put on buns. I served it with some potato salad I had made the day before. I'm making it for the second time today! Great recipe!

Minister's Delight

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
This is the easiest dessert I've ever made!!! And it was delicious! I made it for a family get-together and the crock pot was scraped clean!!!! I used apple pie filling and yellow cake mix. Other than adding some cinnamon to the cake mix, I followed this recipe exactly. I left the walnuts on the side for people to add if they wanted. And I served it with vanilla ice cream. I will definitely make this again! Maybe next time I'll try cherry pie filling with some kind of chocolate cake mix. YUMMMY!

Honey Roasted Carrots

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
Made this tonight as a side for pork chops. My 4yr old and 1 yr old loved them! It was just the three of us, so I only used 4 carrots and drizzled with olive oil and local fresh honey. Yum Yum! I also cut the carrots in thirds. It was perfectly cooked in 40 minutes. We will definitely have these again!

This chicken was heavenly! Tasted much better and was less expensive than store bought Rotisserie chicken! The skin was crunchy and full of spice! And the meat was juicy and delicious! I will defininetyly be making this again!
