Loved these! I have never heard of a molasses cookie, but OMG Yum! I chilled the dough for about an hour and they turned out plump & chewy. Cooled mine on a granite counter to keep them soft. 8 minutes baking was definately enough for my oven. A new family (and neighborhood favorite :)

Outstanding! I was very hesitant as Scalloped Potatoes with a rich cream sauce are a comfort food for me, but since this recipe is good deal less calories, I had to try it. Very happy I did, the whole family just loved them!

Very tasty, just a little dissapointed that the oatmeal texture seemed so raw (I did use bought that day quick oats?)

I found this a tad sweet, but everyone else totally dissagreed with me!! My vegetarian son and daughter-in-law loved it with peanut butter!

This was great, I used a roast with a fair bit of marbling in it as that is my preference. Delish!

We really enjoyed these, made quite a huge amount but each cookie is a small chocolate bar and they vanish just as fast!

Actually welsh cakes should be made with dripping, but that is hard to find in North America, so lard is often the best choice. Traditionally, they are made with currents and should be rolled in sugar when just off the pan, not after cooling

I'm a bit dissapointed ~ I followed this to the letter and my brittle is burnt! Even the nuts taste burnt. Obviously microwave wattage plays a role in this (tho mine is very small). Such a bummer when using such expensive nuts! I will try again once I figure out how to correct the timing.

This was very good, but I did make my own stuffing as I just couldn't wrap my head around chicken stuffing with pork. I did include the cranberries, pecans and apple in the stuffing. I also did not trim my fat for cooking. I used a bit of applejuice to moisten my stuffing and glad I did, I think it would have dry. I served it with a sweet potatoe mash and green beans

I used fresh green beans, because they are lush right now and parboiled. Not a fan of goat cheese, so I used mild feta and the dish was great! Unfortunately, my camera seems to "ona break", mine looked much like the orignal picture!

Made this this weekend while visiting my son and daughter-in-law. The whole recipe just reminded me of something I had once in a nice restaurant that had mushrooms in it. I crip fried some mushrooms and then carried on with the recipe exactly as written, adding the mushrooms back in at the end with the capers. I served it on top of mashed potatoes with asparagus. Absolutely and completely fantastic!! My daughter-in-law has only dropped being a full vegetarian while breast-feeding and loved it so much, she has requested it for Christmas Eve!

I made the mistake of not reading this properly before I told my daughter-in-law I was bringing a orange/pumpkin breakfast loaf for our weekend visit! I went ahead with it and super happy I did! This made a fabulous loaf (I didn't ice it) so incredibly moist and delicious!

Great recipe! ~ even for a fool!! I went brain dead making this and added 2 cups of boiling water to the jello instead of the clearly stated 2/3 cup. Obviously, pretty nervous waitng, but after 5 hours it was set well enough to get out of the pan, serve and eat! Not sure it would survive sitting out for a 1/3 hour or more tho :) One note I would like to make is I picked up the texture of the cottage cheese, which I didn't care for. Next time, I will be sure to use a fine curd. FYI ~ My brain dead version would make a beautiful dessert in a wineglass

These are delicious!! Exactly how I do mine ~ sometimes I switch it up with toasted almonds for a bigger crunch! Brussel sprouts cooked this way can convert anybody!

Just made these this morning ~ Thank you! I have been looking everywhere for a cookie recipe with no egg white and no gluten for my little grandaughter while I am here to visit. I had to make alot of improvs due to availability. No gluten free oats, so used 4 packs of instant gluten free apple/cinnamon oatmeal, the bananas (which I froze & defrosted to get soft enough fast) and because she is just a year and trying to get good stuff in her, I added 2 egg yolks and 3/4 cup finely diced frozen spinach. The judging panel woke from her nap and LOVES them! To keep them soft for her, I baked 12 minutes and cooled on countertop. Thank you! Thank you!!!

yum, Yum, YUM!, these are fantastic! The base is to die for and the filling lush! I added a tsp. of lemon extract, because I had it on hand, used the lemon zest and the lemon flavour was still light. I served it with french vanilla ice-cream which balanced it beautifully.

My crockpot is far too big for the 2.5 pound roast I had on hand so I did it in the oven. I screwed up and forgot to turn the oven on, so had to do it at a bit higher temp with a much shorter cooking time of just 3.5 hours. the meat itself had beautiful flavour and was very tender. My meat was a bit dry, which I am going to assume was due to my changing the cooking method. The four stars is because I found hte broth just way too salty. I wound up having to change my plan last minute and make a packet Aus Jus and added 1/2 cup of the meat sauce to the 2 cups Jus, which was great. I will make it again, but in the crockpot and be prepared with a lighter Aus Jus
