Spinach and Mushroom Frittata

Love this recipe! I changed it up a little- added artichokes instead of mushrooms because it's what I had on hand. I used fat free cottage cheese and a little more garlic and italian seasoning and it still came out great and a little bit more healthy.

Traditional Stuffed Peppers

This was the first time I ever made stuffed peppers and they came out pretty well! I put in more salt, pepper, garlic poweder then the recipe called for and also added italian seasoning. The flavor was pretty good but I think they could have had a little more zip. Maybe next time I'll make the ground beef with a packet of taco meat seasoning to add a little more flavor to the stuffing.

Slow Cooker Casserole

I liked this recipe because it was easy and filling. A good comfort food casserole. I did halve the recipe so it was done in 4 hours. Overall I would say pretty good and I didn't find it too salty but I did have too thin it out a little with some milk as it was getting too chunky. I did think it was missing something though, it was a little too bland for me because I prefer a little zip. next time I will probably add in some mushrooms and maybe green peppers or scallions. But I will make it again and just modify a little bit.

Wonderful Banana Cake

Great recipe! I made some changes based on other reviews. I used 1/2 cup of applesauce instead of oil, added 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 cup sliced almonds and used 3 bananas. It was done perfectly after about 45 min. Very moist! Possibly moist to the point where it could be considered a little mushy, but probably my fault because I added that extra banana. I will be making this again- with one less banana.

Margarita Marinade

I really wanted to like this marinade because it sounds so fresh and unique. When first making it the tequila was overwhelming so I added a little more honey and lime juice. Luckily after letting the ingredients mingle for about 4 hours, the alcohol taste was taken down a lot. But as one reviewer mentioned, it was missing something. I didn't taste the lime even though I put extra in. Overall it was ok on chicken, but I probably won't try it again.

Creamed Spinach II

Awesome! I ate this up like it was my last meal ever! I did make a couple of changes though. Used cream of celery instead of cream of mushroom soup. Sauteed some fresh garlic and mushrooms and added them in. I also put my own spices in- salt and pepper, a little italian seasoning and parmasan. It was so good I scarfed down a lot of it before putting it on the plate! So good I'm making it again tonight. Thank you for my new favortite recipe!

Mushrooms with a Soy Sauce Glaze

Very good way to cook mushrooms! Mine were a little too strong because I accidently used a tablespoon instead of a teaspoon. But I'm sure if I had followed the directions exactly if would have been perfect.

Broccoli and Artichoke Bake

Recipe was ok. I did make a couple of changes based on other reviews. I only used 2 tbsp. of light Mayo and replaced the sour cream with cottage cheese. I added garlic and salt and pepper and it still came out a little bland. Maybe because I cutting down on the mayo- it didn't seem like enough sauce for the veggies. I did like the tomatoes on the top though- it was a good lively contrast with the other veggies.

Spinach Lasagna Rolls

I have been making a very similar recipe for years. The only difference is I add 1 egg to mine (which I think makes the filling a little more firm and less runny.) I also make it into one big roll. I have always gotten rave reviews on mine but was looking for a way to make individual servings to bring to my work Christmas party. This recipe totally fits the bill! Thanks so much for submitting a recipe that is EXACTLY what I'm looking for!

Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

Very good! I only gave it 4 stars because I did make changes that others have recommened. So I can't really rate it on the original recipe. I added 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of applesauce and some cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice. Came out very delicious! I used a Cool Whip frosting also found on the site and it added a very light, fluffy topping. I think this cake definately needs to be frosted.

Pork Chops and Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

I loved this! I was a little nervous at first- porkchops with chees? But it turned out great! I took a previous reviewers recomendation and went with broccoli cheese soup instead of cheese sauce (just hate the sauce all together). I also added some frozen broccoli, mushrooms and minced garlic to just add more veggies. I made about half the recipe and only needed to cook it for 4 hours in the slow cooker. The pork chops were "fall apart" awesome! I will defontaley be making this one again!

South of the Border Salad

I really liked this salad and so did my husband (who rarely likes anything that doesn't have meat in it- unless its drowning in cheese). I added a little more salt and some chili powder and it turned out great. Definately needs to sit for at least 2 hours so that the flavors can mingle together. Definately a great dish for a potluck!

Tangy Floret Salad

I really liked this salad. It's a really tasty way to get all your veggies in. I also added some chopped celery because I had it on hand and it gave it a nice, fresh crunchiness. I made it for my hubby and my parents when they were visiting and got rave reviews!

Veggie Stir-Fry

Great stir fry! And I agree with a previous reviewer that you can use pretty much any veggies with the sauce. I used mushrooms, onion, broccoli, red and green peppers and a little bit of green onion. Quick, easy and very scrumptious!

Cheesy Broccoli Potato Topper

I made this as a quick and easy side dish. Only used half the can of soup because I am trying to be a little more health consious. I cooked the broccoli and soup in one pot and just let it simmer for a while to let the flavors get infused. Added a little bit of minced garlic for more flavor. It was very tasty! I will make it again. Good way to make veggies tasty.
