Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
These are delicious! I didn't have butter flavored shortening so used regular and they still turned out great. This recipe makes a lot (more than we could finish ourselves) so I brought the rest in to work the next day. I set them out in the lunch room and they were gone by 10 am!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Very good, very moist. Recipe yields a large quantity and could easily be cut in half if you only want one loaf of bread.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Wonderful Recipe! This was a hit at our Halloween party. I took the advice of others and brushed bread with Olive Oil, then broiled for about 2 min, before adding the tomato mixture. This kept bread from getting too soggy while sitting out at a party. I also used cans of petite diced tomatoes instead of fresh as a time saver... the recipe still turned out delicious! Will make this one again very soon!!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
This dish was very salty in our opinion. Parmesean is a salty variety of cheese to begin with, and I think the addition of celery salt puts this recipe in the "too salty" category. I'm not sure I'll try it again, but if I do, I'll use a bit of celery seed instead of celery salt. I would also suggest using unsalted butter. If you are going to use Old Bay as recommended by others, use sparingly because it adds to the salty factor! The cooking time on the fish was perfect as written.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
This is a delicious and easy dish! I would suggest using 1 full 10oz can of biscuits, and only 1/2 of the other can... 2 cans was overwhelming. I would also add 1 extra chicken breast. If you use chicken broth as suggested in some of the other reviews, I would cut it with water (1/2 can broth, 1/2 can water) and use the low sodium variety, we thought it was a bit salty. Other than that it was delicious! We'll definately make this again
