Spicy Chicken and Sweet Potato Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
This stew tasted great, a little spicy/hot but i like spicy foods. But I had to add more water to the recipe (3 cups instead of 2).

Saucy Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
Love this quick weeknight recipe. The only thing I would change is omitting the added sugar because applesause has a lot of sugar in it already.

Apple Harvest Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
the first time I made this exactly as directed and it came out very moist and tasty. the second time I made it I substituted 1/2 of apple sauce for 1 cup of the oil and it came out a little bit dry, but definitely still edible and tasty.

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
Great weeknight dish. I tweaked the recipe a little by not using the oven, it seemed like a waste of a dirty dish and energy. I just cooked the pork in the pan with the rasp sauce, then removed it and set it aside on a dish for the last few minutes so the sauce would reduce. I also added a little bit of wheat flour to the sauce to thicken it up. Turned out great with savory flavor.

Irish Soda Bread Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
These cookies tasted great! I used raisins instead of currants and placed the dough in dollops onto a cookie sheet instead of kneading and rolling it out. The only thing I would change is adding more raisins and caraway seeds next time.

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
I'm surprised that I didnt like this recipe after all the high ratings it got. I generally like ground turkey and quinoa separately but when they were cooked together i thought it created an odd texture, though the flavoring was good. I am giving it 2 stars, one start for good flavoring and another star for being healthy. I probably wont make it again.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This recipe was very tasty and easy. I used a jar of marinated artichokes and red peppers. I also did half mayo and half sour cream. I only wish it was lower in calories so I could make/eat it more often.

Rumbleberry Crisp

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
This tasted great and was devoured by my family in minutes. Gave it 4 out of 5 stars bc we reduced the 2 cups of white sugar to 1 cup of white sugar like the other comments suggested.

Coconut Blueberry Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
This cake tasted good. I think its more of a breakfast/coffee cake. The glaze instructions were to involved so i simply mixed powdered sugar with lemon juice instead.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
This recipe was easy to make and tasted great. (I halved the ingredients bc it was too much for 2 people.) On the flip side, it was a bit to sweet for me. Next time I will reduce the sugar that is mixed in with the berries.

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
I didn't care for this recipe. Two stars instead of one because it was edible. The crumble bottom and topping was too flour-ie. I did use wheat flour instead of regular flour but I think if I made it with regular flour I would still feel the same way. I won;t be making this again.

Yogurt Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
Both my boyfriend and I did not like this recipe. It had a strange taste to to it. I used a low fat yogurt that had artificial sweetener so that may have contributed, but even still I wont make this again :(

Very tasty, only complaint is that the flavor doesn't get down into the meat, just on the outside.
