Wonderful Short Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
I followed the ingredients, substituting boneless short ribs for bone-in, white vinegar for lemon juice, 1/3 tsp ground thyme for dried thyme, 1/2 tsp ground red pepper for flakes, and garlic powder for minced garlic. I also added 15 oz can diced tomatoes. I baked ribs at 475 degrees for 30 minutes as someone suggested, and then put in crockpot for 5 hours. YUMMY! with garlic mashed potatoes. A KEEPER!

Steak Mix-Up

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2004
Yummy! I used a sirlion tip roast, sliced it very thin, removing excess fat, and it turned out very tender. I used lots of garlic powder and salt, and extra onion salt too! My husband dislikes sirloin because it's usually tough, but he gave this recipe a thumbs up!

Slow Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2003
This recipe tastes very good when first prepared. But don't make too much, because the sausage overpowers the soup when reheated. I would make again, but I'd cut down the quantity!

Glazed Corned Beef

I served this on New Year's Day for company and it was enjoyed by all - WITHOUT MAKING ANY CHANGES TO YOUR RECIPE! I'll be making it again.

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2002
Easy and delicious. My husband usually hates bonesless, skinless, "tasteless" chicken breast, but he loves this soup! I added more garlic than called for.
