Asian Stir Fry Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
SOOO good! I followed directions exactly (grated ginger) and it always tastes good. If making with stir fry I suggest only drizzling sauce over vegetables and meat because it can overpower if too much is used.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
Too much sour cream called for in the recipe. I think it would have tasted better if there were not as much sour cream; will try again.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
Really good! I used the footnote: recipe for baking mix and it made it taste really good. If you want more of a "spice" or "Seafood" taste add a little bit of old bay seasoning to mixture.

Greg's Southern Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
I followed directions exactly as written, but for whatever reason the overall taste just was not there for me. Tasted very plain: next time I will use more butter (will say they were very fluffy). Not giving up on them; so look for my 4 starts to hopefully turn into 5. May just be a matter of taste too.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
I thought this recipe is pretty good, but the gravy/sauce was not really my taste. It would have been pretty good with egg noodles as a sauce, but for mashed potatoes it was not the best. I do like the slow cooker idea and the meat was very moist. Next time I will use cooking method, but will add cream of mushroom soup to sauce.

Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
Okay I eat/make A LOT of wonton soup and this is a very, very good base recipe. Let me make some suggestions that will hopefully help someone: 1. add some breadcrumbs (not too many) to mixture and an egg; this will cause the filling to stay together and gives it sealed in flavor. 2. do not use just water to seal the wonton wrapper. Use 1tbs flour and 1tbs water (mix together to form paste) to close wonton wrapper and fold into dumpling shape. Also I suggest definitely boiling the dumplings in water for 4-6 minutes before putting them into boiling broth. I add 1-2 tsp of soy sauce into my broth (this depends on taste). Hope this helps! Love this recipe!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
I really love this recipe. I have made it 10+ times already and it comes out great every time. Some suggestions I have for people is 1. you just pour in the dry pudding mix (do not pre make the pudding) and don't buy the cook and serve kind because it makes it much more crumbly. 2. DO not over beat the egg, use a spoon and barely mix it in. 3. take the cookies out right at 10-12 minutes even if they do not look done. They will harden and still be moist in the middle.

Grandma Minnie's Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
Love them! Make them exactly as directed only a little bigger and I use icing and sprinkles. The key is to make sure the butter is very, very soft and use your hands to mix it in if need be. Also make sure you use a spoon after mixing in the butter do not use an electric mixer

Chicken Kiev

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
This was extremely good! I made more butter then was called for in order to double stuff the chicken. Turned out great and it was extremely buttery inside! Loved it!
