About this Cook
I am in my 40's, have loved to cook since my very first easy bake oven. (green with a light bulb) Cooked soups with my grandmother, dinners with my mother, and every other meal with them as well. Love the satisfaction of making people go.. MMMMMM.. that's good. Just love it, it's like playing the lottery and winning every mealtime.
My favorite things to cook
Baking, pies, cookies, cakes, pastries, Cooking any and all meals, full course. Love using the crock pot.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I miss cooking with my mother at the holidays. If you still have your mother, give her an extra hug for me, who misses mine every day.
My cooking triumphs
I make amazing salsa fresca. I have not shared the recipe, but i grow all the ingredients in my garden, hot peppers, onion, tomatoes and cilantro. I make it all year round. everyone, wants some, worth the endless cutting and dicing. I jared some, sold some at the fair, and sold out. :)
My cooking tragedies
I was in love with reeses peanut butter cups, (still am) and tried to make a peanut butter/chocolate pudding. Sadly, it tasted like liquid cardboard, or dirty socks, jury is still out.

Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs
It sounds like it would be too sweet, but in the end it is just perfect. Great for the upcoming fall and winter seasons, fantastic aromas you can use up to 3 lbs of short ribs, with this recipe.
