Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
I never had Italian wedding soup before but my fiancée daughter loves it so I decided to try it out and chose this recipe. Not only did she love it but I loved it too! The only thing I slightly changed was I used 1 cup of chopped spinach and 1 cup of fresh chopped parsley and I added a little salt and pepper while it was cooking. Mmmmm this may be mynnew favorite soup!

Fruit Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
I made this in a cake pan so that it would be thicker and more like a fruit tart. Tasted wonderful. I put my own fruit though, not what the recipe calls for and I skipped the glaze the second time I made this. Doesn't really need it

Taco Casserole

Very yummy. I even made the second time as just beefaroni and followed the recipe but just did not add the taco seasonings or tortillas. One of our favorites now.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
5 stars just for the idea of cooking it in a slow cooker. I never cooked a turkey before and made a 3 lb breast for just my boyfriend and I. Cooked it for about 6 hrs on low and it came out great. I don't know if I would use the onion soup though. I just put a little bit of turkey broth on the bottom of the crock pot and sprinkled the breast with saltnpepper garlic and basil and it was wonderful.

Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
I made this out of boredom bc I had all the needed ingredients. Made absolutley no changes and it turned out wonderful. I'm a professional baker and this tasted better than my bakeries cinnamon bread! Don't add vanilla or brown sugar or anything bc it's great just how it is. Defiatly a keeper and having an infant at home it's very simple to make while he's taking a nap.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2012
I used my own sauce but followed the recipe for the chicken and it turned out great! Maybe I'll try the recipe someday for the sauce, but I'm very stuck on Wegmans sweet and sour sauce lol.

This was fabulous! I cut the recipe in half though bc it was only for 2 people. And I also added a little steamed broccoli.

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2012
Wow! These were amazing. Just as is, no changes. They held together so well and not a one of them fell apart. Didn't have a baguette so I used a hoagie roll. it's a meatball sandwich, no need to get all fancy lol.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2013
My family wanted lasagna and tobe honest I was too lazy to go to the store. I stumbled upon this recipe and had MOST of the ingredients so I figured I give it a whirl. It turned out really good. I had no green pepper and I used regular onions bc I had no green ones. I had fresh parsley so I added that in. I also had no cheddar cheese so I sprinkled over in parmesan and put a few slices of American cheese on top. Yeah, I really didn't want to go to the store lol. But it turned out really good. I bet it tastes awesome if I had all the ingredients lol but even with what I had I still give it 5 stars

Strawberry Rhubarb Custard Pie

Reviewed: May 21, 2013
I was very nervous when I made this bc I did it while my 1 yr old was taking a nap and was not able to get to the store but really wanted to try this. I ended up using what I had on hand which was 2 cups of strawberries and a cup and half of ruhbarb a 9 inch deep dish shell 1 cup and a quarter of sugar French vanilla coffe mate cuz I was out of milk apricot jelly for the glaze and I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg bc I was out. This tasted GREAT with that! Im sure if I had the proper ingredients this would be ridiculously outstanding! Thanks John!!

Erin's Cheesy Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
I followed this recipe to a certain point with a few adjustments. I used a whole bag of frozen broccoli/cauliflower Mix and chopped it very fine. I also added celery seed to the milk/ cheese mixture. Other then that it was pretty exact. The celery seed really gives it that kick it's missing.
