Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
I made this out of boredom bc I had all the needed ingredients. Made absolutley no changes and it turned out wonderful. I'm a professional baker and this tasted better than my bakeries cinnamon bread! Don't add vanilla or brown sugar or anything bc it's great just how it is. Defiatly a keeper and having an infant at home it's very simple to make while he's taking a nap.

Carrot Pineapple Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
I thought it was okay, but my boyfriend didn't like it. I guess it's personal preference. Were more cheesecake people then carrot cake. But if your a carrot cake lover you'll prolly like it.

Slow Cooker Porcupine Meatballs With Peppers

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
I did not care for this recipe. Made recipe exact. The meatballs fell apart and the sauce just tasted like watered down tomato sauce.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
5 stars just for the idea of cooking it in a slow cooker. I never cooked a turkey before and made a 3 lb breast for just my boyfriend and I. Cooked it for about 6 hrs on low and it came out great. I don't know if I would use the onion soup though. I just put a little bit of turkey broth on the bottom of the crock pot and sprinkled the breast with saltnpepper garlic and basil and it was wonderful.

Savory Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
I adjusted this recipe a lot bc it's just my boyfriend and I plus it seemed like it would be too watered down. I melted 2 tbsp of butter and stirred in 2 and a half tbsp of flour. Poured in 1 can of turkey broth ( 2 cups) and a touch of celery seed and pepper. stirring until thick enough.

Taco Casserole

Very yummy. I even made the second time as just beefaroni and followed the recipe but just did not add the taco seasonings or tortillas. One of our favorites now.

Fruit Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
I made this in a cake pan so that it would be thicker and more like a fruit tart. Tasted wonderful. I put my own fruit though, not what the recipe calls for and I skipped the glaze the second time I made this. Doesn't really need it

Cheaper and easier to just buy a box of them. Tastes the same and the box ones look nicer. Won't make again.

Egg and Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
It was very good. I used 10 eggs and 3/4 cup of milk like others said and the Italian seasonings. It just took forever to cook. But everyone loved it. You need to have a big family though. It's just my boyfriend and I, so I took the rest to my parents house, and they devoured it.

Pool Party Pasta Salad

I made this this morning. I used everything but the tomatoes and Italian dressing. Instead I used sun dried tomatoes and kens fat free sun dried tomato dressing. It was great. Going to be my new picnic pasta salad

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
Delicious. I didn't have sour cream so I used philadelphia garlic and herb cream cheese spread that was really good. There was no left overs. I'll def make this again and use the garlic and herb spread. I think that is perfect for this recipe.
