About this Cook
I'm a married mother of 2 girls of my own and 3 step children. I found the love of my literally across the street! Its a little like the Brady Bunch at my house sometimes but I wouldnt have it any other way!
My favorite things to cook
I like just about anything...as long as it turns out on the first try. Otherwise I get frustrated and move on to something else.
My favorite family cooking traditions
There are two things that are requested at every family dinner. Corn casserole and pumpkin roll!
My cooking triumphs
Getting me to cook is a triumph sometimes! :)
My cooking tragedies
Tragedies?? What tragedies?? I thought I threw those away before anyone saw them! :)
Recipe Reviews 4 reviews
I had some apples left over from visiting the orchard that were getting soft. I made this recipe and the whole family loved it. I think its going to become an annual tradition at my house. It was the best when it was still warm.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie
I added a cup of water to the rhubarb, strawberrys and sugar and cooked it on top the stove until the rhubarb was cooked up then put it in the pie shell. It was wonderful!! Just dont forget to put foil under your pie tin so it doesnt drip on the oven.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge
I have tried lots of fudge but this is by far the best. And so easy to make! Not a bit grainy. Just be sure to use good sugar like C&H not the store brand. Thanks again Aunt Teen!!
