Plum Clafouti
This is so good and easy to make. Served to company with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which helps balance the tartness of the plums.I mixed the batter up earlier in the day and refrigerated it. Just cut and pit the plums before you sit down to dinner and pour the batter over and pop in the oven. Dessert is warm from the oven. This is a Keeper.

Blazing Brisket
Absolutley a Keeper. As previous reviews suggested, I eliminated the shortening and fatback. Used 1 stick of butter to saute the garlic. The meat was very tender. The sweet potatoes were great. Added some fennel bulbs the last hour.You won't be disappointed with this one.

Black Bean and Corn Salad II
I have been making this for a couple of years after finding the recipe here.Quick to make. Fresh clean taste. Have made with and without the advocado. Make this the day you plan to serve and let set on the countertop. If you have any leftovers to refrigerate the dressing changes consistancy and I don't like as well the next day.
