Chicken Breasts Pierre

We all ate it but the agreement by all was to not make again. Did cut down on the Brown sugar by 1 TBL since we do not like sweet main dishes. It still was too sweet.

Blackberry Muffins

Made this last night- house smelled amazing when cooking. I did hesitate like others about the oats since we light fluffy muffins so I only added 1/2 cup. The overall verdict in out house was they were a bit too dense.

Italian Peas

made this recipe exactly as stated. Sorry was not a big fan of it. Disappointed after all the reviews I read. I love any kind of vegetable but this lacked some flavor. Our favorite way is still steamed with garlic salt and some butter.

So yummy right out of the oven. I did add one tsp vanilla and did 1/4cup of white sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar since that is what we prefer.

Isaac's Juicy Chicken

We made this tonight and both my daughers took one bit and said "YUM". This was so simple and SOOO tender. I made the recipe exactly liked it was stated. I did put it on a rack on the pan so the juices would not make it soggy. It came out perfect and is something I would serve to guests. I might cut back a bit on the garlic power by 1 tsp.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

These were very good. I normally do receipes extactly like stated the first time. However. so many people suggested going with the full cup of milk and the 1/2 cup of oil and a splash of vanilla so that is what I did. I baked in a spray pan for 18 minutes( alsoi recommeneded by many)and they came out perfect. I did like the 1/4 cup sour cream suggestion in place of the extra milk so I might try that next time.

Jeanie's Falafel

I always follow a recipie exactly before making any changes. I really wanted Falafel as I had them recently in a trip to Europe. I cook alot an am always making new things for the family. I had the oil at a hot temperture and they still just fell apart and just literally melted into the oil- the whole mess of oil and falafel.

Blueberry Walnut Salad

Nice light salad- made exactly as called for. Did add a few fresh raspberries that we had picked that day at the local farm and it added a nice color. I can see how the sugared walnuts could be a nice addition to the salad.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

I love making breakfast foods. Hope one day to open a bed and breakfast so I tend to try many things with the family. I always make recipie as called for the first time in order to rate it fairly. The batter does look small but it will puff up nicely- just be sure to use the right size pan. Did look very nice when it came out of oven. Seemed best served warm. Everyone liked it but did not rave about it and beg me to make again. We made with fresh sweet raspberries that we picked at a local farm.

Best Lemonade Ever

easy to make and very good. Microwave the lemons for a minute until they feel warm as it will help get alot mopre juice out of the lemon.

Bread Pudding II

Yummy- used stale bread and cut off crusts. Also used 1/2 white sugar and 1/4 brown sugar. Used 1 cup 1% milk and the 1 cup half and half.

Creamy Mushroom Soup

I do not even like mushrooms but I loved this soup. I made it exactly like written. But i did add one garlic since we are garlic lovers. I did use all portabello. I chopped small pieces. made enough for 4 bowls as a start to dinner
