These are SO tasty! I have made them a couple of times for students who have done things they need to and they enjoy them as well!

Chilaquiles II

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
After having a Mexican student make this for the class, I had to find out how to make it. This recipe was closest to how she said her mom made it. It was good, but I even cut down on the tortillas to 10, and it was too many. I used El Pato for the sauce because the student said that was what her mom uses. I also think next time I might try tortilla chips instead of the regular tortillas because I want more crunch. Still tasty, and helps me to try to replicate the yummy food my student brought in

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Tasty sandwiches, like what I had growing up. Definitely a favorite in my household now! We used swiss cheese since that's what my fiancee prefers but still tasty!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Was pretty easy to make, but lacked flavor. There is no spice to it! My normal recipe uses cinnamon and nutmeg to make it tastier, and I think that this one is lacking that. I was disappointed and will be going back to my original pie recipe.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Delicious! Made the dough in the bread maker, then put it into 2 bread pans, let rise again for a hour, then cooked in the oven. Very light, fluffy, and tasty!

Perfect Apple Pie

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
The actual pie was WONDERFUL! So tasty. The crust was awful. It fell apart, cracked, and was way too dry and crumbly. I ended up using my normal pie crust for it.

Amish Friendship Bread I

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
Very upset with this bread. After spending the past 10 days getting ready to make it, I was confused by the recipe (the starter says to pull out 3 cups of mix and use the rest, but the directions say to only use 1 cup of mix), it only filled 1 pan, and the sides/top burnt (I mean BURNT to black) and the inside was still runny. Will not use this again. I hope to try the starter with one of the other recipes on here.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
Dough was very dry while mixing, and then when it finished it had dropped down in the pan. Will not try it again.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Good tasting, but the pork we bought was hard to pull apart. I think I will try it with different cut next time, and more BBQ sauce.

Belle's Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
Worked very well with our pre-made hamburger patties. I will use some garlic powder next time to give it a bit more flavor. Also, after I let the milk mixture cool, I added the yeast to it and let it sit about 10 minutes until foamy as others stated. Worked well.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
This bread is WONDERFUL. Really easy to make by hand, and tastes great. I made it into a loaf, but want to try rolls at some point as well.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
WONDERFUL! I made this for Thanksgiving 2010, and everyone raved how good it was. I wish I had remembered to take a picture before it was gone, but will next time. Can't think of anything to change, and loved that the top didn't crack like most of the cheesecakes I have made before have. *Update* Made this again for late Dec. 2010. Used the limited edition Gingerbread Graham Crackers for the crust, made it even more tasty. If you can find them I suggest trying those since it compliments the pumpkin spices well.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
In the words of my fiancee "these are soooo good!". First time making chicken wings, and these were super easy. The hardest part was cutting apart the chicken wings because the ones I bought weren't cut up, but I got my fiancee to do those. We made 36 wings, and just doubled the recipe. I am making these again next weekend and will add more hot sauce to make one mild (this version) and one hot. Also used a Fry Daddy fryer, and only had to cook for 5 minutes. But then I put the wings in a pan in the oven on warm while the next batch was cooking.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Super tasty. I didn't evenly distribute the caramel over the popcorn, so we had super caramel and light caramel, but it worked.

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
Soggy, bland, greasy. No real flavor. We might try again, but I was not impressed. Like others have said, it is easier to just buy some from the store.

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
So easy to make and use. I haven't tried it as a double recipe but using it as a crust for a custard pie it is good. Last time I used it, it did poof, so I suggest pricking it with a fork if you are doing a pre-baked crust.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
This was super tasty. It did take an hour at the stove stirring, and it never boiled but it did thicken. I replaced half of the half&half with with coconut milk also. Would have given it 5 stars if it didn't take so long standing at the stove stirring the filling.

S'mores Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
These are SO easy to make, and are a huge hit. They can be rich, but are tasty. I normally do Hershey bars instead of chocolate chips but both work.
