Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
I used less oil 1/3 cup canola oil, and I added peanut butter chips for contrast. These came out great. You need to mash them a bit before they bake. They spread out instead of up.

Lemon Lover's Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
I like this recipe. I added a lemon syrup and then the glaze. I added a small pouring sauce of glaze and in my other pictures of raspberry sauce, I drizzled that too on the cut pieces. I sub'd yogurt for the sour cream because I only had that on hand it came out quite well.

Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
I used 1/3 cup sugar and added a touch of orange oil to enhance the raspberries. Using fresh is totally different than using frozen because of the water content of the latter. This came out wonderfully and isn't too sweet. Great Recipe.

Fudge and Marshmallow-Topped Cocoa Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
You need to read the package ... you only use 1/2 cup butter, not a cup, and you should probably bloom the cocoa to a liquid so that you get a chocolate flavor in the cookie. The water is a must to get a shine and melted-like fudge topping. They tasted great and make a wonderful presentation. I added chocolate shreds in my cookie base ... added flavor!

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
I used this on my David's Yellow cupcakes with the Pastry Cream I made earlier. It came out very smooth and chocolatey. I used Semi Sweet real chocolate from Guittard - so you could say this is a three time All Recipes cupcake.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
I love this recipe ...and have made it 4 times in three days. I too changed the recipe a bit ... adding 1 tsp cinnamon and a splash of pumpkin pie spice in the sugar mix, then using two egg whites (large eggs) and 3/4 tsp Boyjan orange oil and two full teaspoons of Madagascar Bourbon vanilla. I used non-stick foil one time (messy) Crisco greased aluminum pan the second time ... (cooked faster 15-15-10-10) then finally used a new non-stick pan which was heavier. The third time cooked even faster, so watch what you use. My family loves pecans so this year they are in luck. Good Luck and Thank You Carolyn for this great recipe.
