I have been a member of a gourmet dinner club since 1984. My husband is an expert cook also but I am the baker in the house. We are extensive vegetable gardners and try to preserve as much as possible. We call it the '50 foot diet'. Trying to introduce more organic into our diet
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking what you would call peasant food because there would be more vegetarian choices. I use lots of beans and some tofu. Also love, love cooking with cheese.

Christmas cookies. My husband is Ukrainian so we like to make traditional Ukrainian food.

I make a mean pasta sauce. My specialty is Italian cooking.
