Believe everything you've read about this recipe. It's awesome. This is a great accompaniment to a stir-fry or other oriental recipe.

The longer you marinate the salmon the better it will be! Can't go wrong.

Spicy Orange Teriyaki Marinade

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2004
I had to change this a little based on ingredients I had. I don't know how it tastes as stated but my pork loin turned out great. I omitted the chili paste and pineapple. I don't like spicy food and my husband doesn't like sweet food. It was perfect. I reserved the marinade and poured a little on the pork every 10 min. as it cooked. It made a nice glaze.

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2004
This was so simple and delicious. I made a couple of changes. I like a thicker marinade so I added 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. As others suggested I added 1/2 tsp of ginger and 1 tsp of garlic powder. I don't know if it needed it, but I liked it, so I'll do it again. It made a lot of marinade so I set a little aside to be used as a sauce for white rice. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
My family loves this meal. I cut back on the chili powder because I don't like spicy foods. My husband can spice his up just by adding hot sauce to his.

OU Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
This is the best recipe for canned corn. I loved the taste. Mine didn't come out with a bread texture so we had to eat it with a fork. I don't know if that is the way it is supposed to be or if I didn't cook it long enough. Still great.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2005
I had a package of frozen peaches, strawberries and cherries that I didn't know what to do with so I began searching for a recipe and stumbled upon this one. I'm so glad I did because this was excellent. I just substituted the fresh fruit in the recipe for the frozen fruit and it was such a good home-cooked dessert.

Cherry Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
This was very good and well received, but I cheated and used the devils food cake mix and chocolate glaze as described by another reviewer. I'll be making this again.

My family LOVES this macaroni salad and they are hard to please. I use mayonnaise instead of salad dressing and omit the tomatoes.

Sesame Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
Easiest, best tasting beef stir-fry I've made. I cut the sugar in half like a lot of others. I added bok choy at the end, because it cooks quickly like spinach, so its a super easy vegetable to add. I will be making this often.

No-Cream Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: May 14, 2012
This recipe is a tasty, healthy way to use up veggies in the your fridge. Anything works. I didn't have lemon, basil or parsley and it still tasted great. Roasting the veggies is the way to go.

Halloween Jack-o'-Lantern Beef Pies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
My picky teenager goggled these up. I used cheddar cheese instead of American and I didn't have canned biscuit dough so I made them from scratch. It was hard to see the pumpkin face, because the cheese melted so much. Next time I'll just pop them in the oven for a minute. We'll be making these all year long. Will try other cheeses for variety.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
I'm not much of a fan of sugar cookies because they are too time consuming, too hard and often dry. These cookies are soft and easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly except used half the salt because my butter was salted. I used a small dough scooper so all the cookies would be the same size. I then rolled them, dipped one side in colored sugar, and flattened them slightly on the pan with a glass. I baked them for 11 min. and they were hardly brown at all. I was worried that they might not be done, but trusted my judgement and they were. Do not go by color to determine if they are done. The recipe made exactly 4 dozen with my scooper. There is a lot of butter/shortening in this recipe and that can be tasted in the end result as others have said. I may try to up the sugar a tad next time. If you frost these, then don't worry. The frosting will add the extra sweetness. These will still remain my go to recipe when I need a sugar cookie fast.

S.O.P.P.

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
Fantastically simple and tasty. I did add salt, pepper, garlic and italian seasoning. I'm rating it a 5 because even though I added to it, it was simple to do. Based on comments about the potatoes, I decided to roast those separately in the oven with oil, salt, pepper and italian seasoning. I sautéed the onion, pepper and garlic with salt, pepper and italian seasoning. I added the sausage next just long enough to heat it, then the potatoes. Kids ate it up and went for seconds.

Cranberry Hootycreeks

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2013
These may very well be the best cookies I've ever made! I followed the recipe exactly as stated, but eliminated the pecans. I used orange flavored cranberries. Tasted like a Christmas cookie. I didn't need to grease the cookie sheet. Cookies took about 12 minutes to cook and they were very moist. Such an easy recipe. Great tasting food with little effort is tops in my book.

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Reviewed: May 8, 2013
Excellent coffee cake! As many reviewers have suggested, I also baked this in an 8x8 dish. I have to admit that I was concerned about this recipe turning out right because after mixing the ingredients the batter was stretchy like bread dough. I had to stretch it to fill the dish. I also put half the streusel between two layers then topped with the remaining. I served it warm and it was perfect. Will make again!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2014
My 12 and 14 year olds made this shrimp on the grill and ate the entire batch of shrimp themselves (about 60 shrimps!). Didn't have tomato sauce and apple cider vinegar so used ketchup and white vinegar. It worked fine.
