I am a university student that loves to bake in the wee hours of the night. For this reason, I generally gravitate towards recipes that are fast, but delicious. This site has been incredibly useful in my quest to become a seasoned baker- and maybe learn a thing or two about cooking. Muffins, cookies, brioches, pies, cakes, etc. Basically pastries of all sorts. I love any holidays that are within the fall and winter seasons. Warm spices and flavors like: Nutmeg, cinnamon, and all spice, are some of my favorite olfactory and gastronomical treats. I have found so many scrumptious recipes on this site that I have lost count. Thus far, I have been lucky to avoid any major cooking catastrophes. Simple mistakes like miscalculating measurements when doubling amounts have occurred (though rarely).
