Baked Custard

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
Amazing! This was a very good pudding. Since this was my first time ever making baked custard, I didn't really know what to expect. This was a nice soft pudding that tasted just like the boiled custard drink. I read what other reviewers said about it being not sweet enough, so I completly replaced the granulated sugar with brown sugar, and I replaced the water(that was inside the pudding) with milk. This turned out to be a very nice creamy custard pudding.

Fluffy Cake Doughnuts

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
ATTENTION - this is not a doughnut, it is a cake that looks like a doughnut. Even though I was a little bit disapointed, it was a pretty good tasting cake.

Made Me Love Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
This pumpkin cake was absolutely delicious! I topped it with cream cheese icing, and it was soooooo good! NOTE: I made my own icing with 1 pack of cream cheese, 1/4 C. sugar, and 1/8 C. milk. I melted the cream cheese in the microwave then just added the other ingredients, and ... Presto! Definately a keeper.

French Breakfast Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
soooo good! TIPS FOR VERY, VERY GOOD MUFFINS: 1st, if you don't have any eggs replace it with 1/2 C. buttermilk, and lower the measurement of (normal) milk to 1/4 C.. 2nd, for an amazing icing you will need to have - one 8oz. package of cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1 1/2 C. confectioners sugar. Soften the cream cheese, then mix all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. When your muffins are done lavish the icing on your YUMMY muffin/cupcakes. I hope this helps, ENJOY!

Made-in-Minutes No-Cook Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
A healthy chocolate - who would've ever dreamed! This recipe was amazing, defininately a keeper. (although I would recommend a little less honey, it is quite sweet.) Oh, and a small tip for those who don't want to wait 2 hours to eat your fudge; simple - put it in the freezer for a few minutes and... tah-dah!

Better Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
I'm sorry to say, but your recipe was VERY misleading. I did what you suggested, omitted the sugar and doubled the stevia. It was WAAAAAYY to sweet! different stevias are different concentrates. It probably would've been good if I used half the (concentrate) stevia, no sugar, and about 1/2 C. honey, then maybe sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. I hope this helps. (please do not double the stevia - BAD IDEA)

Beefy Biscuit Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
FIVE STARS for easiness and deliciousness! I did some deep-dish pizzas like the recipe said to, but mostly I just greased a cookie sheet and flattened out the biscuit dough on it to form mini-crusts. The crust was delicious! I will definately do this again.

Beefy Manicotti

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
This recipe was delicious! I did improvise just a little though. Such as: instead of the white Zinfandel and tomato sauce, I used just plain ol' spaghetti sauce, and instead of buying the manicotti shells, I made my own (because I always say homeade is better). I think I used a crepe recipe for the shells/noodles, and believe me that's WAY better than the storebought stuff.

These rolls are sooooo good! I didn't believe my eyes when I saw that it only took 20 min.! And if you're wondering if you can taste the mayonnaise, you can't; well at least I didn't. I recommend these rolls if you are looking for an extremely quick and delicious side food.

Angel Food Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
This Angel Food Cake was AMAZING! my family gobbled it up in ten minutes. I didn't have a few of the ingredients, so I substituted them; Cream of Tartar=1Tbs. Vinegar, and Cake Flour=1 3/4 C. all purpose flour + 1/4 C. Cornstarch. I was a little nervous about the substitutions but they worked like magic! Oh, and I didn't have any almond extract so I used Banana Extract, (It gave it a nice banana flavor) I highly recommend this recipe!

Dessert Crepes

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
These crepes were sooo delicious! I did add vanilla for extra flavor, and I think it really helped. For the filling, (or glaze) I used what I had; sweetened condensed milk with 1 teaspoon of vanilla, I microwaved that for 10 seconds and drizzled it on top. Then I sprinkled a little bit of cinnamon on top. This recipe is definately a keeper.
