Caramel Apple Bars II

Made this and I think it turned out great. I used baking caramel instead of the candy and a can of apple pie filing instead if freshly cored and sliced ones. Caramel was easy to work with since no unwrapping each piece was needed. Made the caramel into salted caramel to add a little kick, not too much salt just a dash. Also only used half of the caramel the recipe called for. Apple filing worked perfect and didn't make the crisp soggy at all. Would work good with a side of ice cream.

Snickerdoodles I

Decided on this recipe out of the 100's out there but changed it up some. Instead of shortening I used a cup of Tillamook Unsalted Butter. Made the recipe the same other than that. For the rolling I added some coconut into the mix.

Boston Cream Pie Minis

I changed how the pudding is added to the cake. Instead of cutting them in half (mainly to keep them easier to travel with) I used a piping bag and large tip to basically squeeze it into the cake centers. This worked out great! The cake was moist and the pudding maintained well just being squeezed in.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Easy to make. Added dried cranberries to the banana mix. Also added oatmeal, plain giant tube of it you can buy, to the crumble top.

French Pastry Pie Crust

Was looking for a different crust that A) had flavor and B) was flaky. Was very pleased with the outcome of this crust. Used it to make both apple and a pumpkin pie.

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

I used Black Cat wine to make this. The fruity taste from that and the garlic meshed together really well. This will definitely be added to me recipe list.
