Spiced Plum Bread

My sister and I made this and followed the recipe exactly. The batter was way too thick and needed some milk to thin it some. I was not a fan of the spices with the plums. I will never make this recipe again. It isn't moist at all and tastes really bland.

I was not impressed with this recipe and neither was any of my family. It was a disappointment. The biggest problem was the flavor...it really needs something more. If you do make this I definitely suggest serving with ice cream or whipped topping. I won't make this again.

CopyCat Starbucks Classic Coffee Cake

I followed this recipe as written but doubled the topping mixture to make the ribbon in the middle and it turned out great! All of my guests loved it!!! Thanks for a wonderful recipe! I will make this again!

Good for You Greek Salad

This is almost exactly the same recipe that I make but instead of the lemon juice I use balsamic vinegar and it gives it a great flavor. I also throw in garlic powder, basil, and sometimes peppers if I have them on hand. Our family loves it! Never use black or green olives unless that is all you have. Greek or kalamata olives are the BEST!

Peanut Butter Pie

Made this last night and it was a big hit! The whole family loved it (9 people)! I made a few changes based on other reviews and my personal preference. I upped the peanut butter to 3/4 cup, used only about 4 oz. of whipped topping on the top, and put a layer of hot fudge on the bottom of the crust before putting anything else on it. The fudge added a LOT! I drizzled some on the top too. I froze it and we all liked it better that way. Before eating I pulled it out and let it thaw for a few minutes. The fudge was gooey and so yummy on it! I will make this again and again!

Chocolate Pudding Cake II

I was skeptical when I made this the first time. I thought it looked very unappetizing in the pictures and sounded weird but it turned out great and I have made it a lot since then. I have made it for company and they loved it. I definitely recommend serving with ice cream or whipped topping because it isn't very sweet. The sauce at the bottom is so good over the cake and ice cream!!! Yummy!!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

One of the best banana breads I have ever had and definitely the best I have made. The sour cream made it so moist. I was asked for the recipe at Thanksgiving! I would definitely recommend making this bread!!

Oatmeal Pancakes II

These are so good. They taste amazing and I feel even better knowing that they are healthy. I took the advice from some other reviews and use 2 egg whites and use regular milk instead of the buttermilk but that is just because I never have buttermilk. I also added 1 tablespoon of ground flax seed and I think that added a lot to them! I will keep making these!

Creamy Strawberry Crepes

I made these the other morning for breakfast and everyone loved them. Next time I may reduce the sugar a bit since I thought they were a little extra sweet but overall they were great! They are very time-consuming but worth it if you have the time. :) Oh and I used the dessert crepes on this website for my crepes and used this recipe for the filling.

Supreme Strawberry Topping

This was sooo good and very easy. It is very versatile too and can be changed to taste easily. I made this with fresh strawberries and poured over pancakes instead of using syrup. Delicious!! I will make this again!

Blueberry Breakfast Sauce

This was great tasting and I will make it again but it had too many blueberries and not enough sauce in my opinion. I put it on pancakes so I was wanting something a little more "saucy". I will add more water next time. Great recipe overall!!

Daddy's Sausage and Peppers

This is AMAZING! I added more sausage but reduced the amount of peppers just because that is what I had. I used hot sausage but next time I would use sweet/mild and green bell peppers. I also used 2 cans of diced tomatoes with the oregano and italian seasonings in it and I am glad I did. It wouldn't have had enough tomatoes in my opinion with only 1 can. I served this over spaghetti...next time I will have italian bread on the side to soak up the juices. Will make this again and again!

Garlic Chicken

Cherry Delight Dessert

We have made this as long as I can remember. We never used powdered sugar in the crust but instead brown sugar. And we have always changed up the topping...strawberry, blueberry, cherry, even chocolate. This is a great dessert and so easy! My grandparents ask for it everytime we see them. :)

Everyone raved about this over Thanksgiving. The only problem I had is that it wanted to crumble in the towel. Next time I will use a cheese cloth...I heard that they work better.
