Delicious Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
I didn't have taco sauce so I just used tomato sauce. I also substituted honey for molasses and left the mustard out and it still came out great!

Tofu Masala

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
I'm a carnivore by heart, but I had tofu in my fridge and wanted to cook it up. I also had the rest of the ingredients, so I was able to make a dish out of nothing. This was great for a veggie dish! I added a small cube chicken buillion and it was great!

Chicken Marinara

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2008
This was simple and easy recipe. It came out really good. I should have added green pepper(hindsight),since I had it in my fridge, but it came out good regardless. To the flour mixture, I added salt, pepper and paprika.

Apple Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
I didn't make the butter sauce, but this was so good without it! It must be 5 + stars with the butter sauce. I didn't have the right pan, so I made cupcakes/ muffins instead.

St. Patrick's Colcannon

I thought this was rather bland. I guess it's a good way to use up leftovers, but it lacked taste.

Peppered Bacon and Tomato Linguine

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
This was a great recipe and easy to make. I don't agree with the other posters who thought it needed more sauce. I coated the pasta with olive oil then tossed the linguine in the sauce. Yum!

Spareribs with Savory Sage Rub

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
This recipe was great for spareribs! For the last 30 minutes I used the Delicious Barbeque Sauce by blond on these website, and my ribs were awesome! I marinated the ribs overnight and cooked them in the oven for 1 and 1/2 hours on 350 degrees

This was very good. I boiled the vegetables and then stir-fried them with some fresh garlic. I grilled up a porkchop and had a great dinner!

Hunter Style Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
This recipe was just ok. I found this recipe too tomato - y and acidic. I could have just as easilt opened a can of tomato sauce and pour it over chicken. Mom's Chicken Cacciatore by Jana is much better.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2013
Awesome cookies and so easy to make!! I put in pecans and coconut flakes in it as per request by my friend for his birthday. Also, to make it easier, I made the cookie dough the night before and rolled it into a log in saran wrap. I halved the recipe and made 2 logs. Took it out the next day, warmed to room temperature and cut the log into slices to bake. Each log made about 12 cookies. Yummy!!

Mom's Best Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
This was sooo good! I made this for a BBq/ picnic and everyone raved about it. I omitted the condensed milk, though because I thought it would be too sweet.

Banana Cake V

This was easy to make. I had a bunch of bananas that were ripening and I mashed them up and made this cake. I gave it away to help my own waistline and everyone loved it, including my student's cat. Weird cat!

Aloha Chicken

I would describe this as interesting. . . I did not have all the ingredients on hand and made substitutions. I used fresh pineapple and ginger garlic paste for ginger powder. I also used chicken breast.

This was very good and easy to make. I added a can of diced tomatoes with roasted red pepper and it gave it a nice kick. It was my first time using poblano peppers - now a favorite of mine!
