Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
I was very disappointed in this recipe! The flavor was fine although it might not have been had I not added the tsp of cinnamon. The big problem was that the sauce was very runny.

Classic Macaroni Salad
I have never made a traditional macaroni salad before but this turned out fantastic. I did make a few changes due to what I had on hand. I didn't have yellow mustard so I used spicy brown, I was low on yellow onion so I used red, and I was all out of green bell pepper, but I had a very small jar of pimentos, so I added those. I think these were minor changes so I know the original recipe is solid. If you like spicy brown mustard on your sandwiches I highly recommend it for this recipe, it was wonderful!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies
This is a very good recipe. For me there is something missing that would make it great, but I'm not quite sure what. They do come out nice and soft. I divided my batch in half, and put raisins in one, and dark chocolate pieces and dried cranberries in the other half. I did refrigerate mine for a couple of hours, as I didn't have time to bake them right away. I rolled them into balls and flattened them a little bit with my palms. One very useful tool I would like everyone to get familiar with is parchment paper, it will make your life in the kitchen much easier. I always line my cookie sheets with it and then there is no need to grease anything. I don't even need a spatula to remove the cookies to a cooling rack. It is great for lining your bread pans and cake pans too.
