Chocolate Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
I made this just as written excepted doubled it in a 13x9 inch pan for a dinner. topped with whipped cream it was a dream. if you are taking it to a dinner make several hours ahead so the chocolate sauce can thicken some. next time might sprinkle a few chopped pecans or walnuts on top. will make again! Addendum...I did make this again just as written in a 9x9 inch pan. It turned out beautifully. The sauce was thicker in the single recipe. So quick and easy!

Chicken Taco Casserole

This turned out great. Didn't use as much cheese and added a few chopped fresh jalapenos. Next time I may try adding a can of mexicorn for texture. Served with tostito chips. Will make again.

Great Grandma's Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2014
I made this and it was fabulous! I took it to a gathering and they almost licked the dish. I added a teaspoon of Mexican vanilla, and a tablespoon of cornstarch to peaches so therefore I used all of the peach juice. Topping: added a splash of milk then sprinkled the topping with scant quarter cup Brown suger, oatmeal and cinnamon to personal taste. I may have to make one for just me! Thank you.

like others I added spices... 1 teaspoon cinnamon and dash each cloves, nutmeg and ginger. used half and half. this casserole is superb and the topping is to die for. also, bake your potatoes then cool some before peeling. much better texture.

Braised Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2013
this recipe produced the most tender pork chops ever! this will go in my menu rotation. like some, i omitted water in place of chicken stock for simmering. i added some chopped onion and garlic, some coarse ground pepper. i also sprinkled with a bit of paprika just for the color. husband and kids remarked on the tenderness and the gravy was divine!i doubled the gravy based on others suggestions. served with mashed potatoes, green beans, cheese biscuits. thanks for a wounder recipe!
