About this Cook
I'm 18 and in cyber school now. I've enjoyed helping my mom in the kitchen growing up a lot. I never attended brick-and-mortar school. So I've had lots of time at home cooking for my younger siblings and the rest of the family. For about 10 years I was strictly vegan. Now I'm not, I eat little dairy and lots of eggs and occassionally some chicken hotdogs. I love turkey & fish! I try to mostly eat my grains and vegetables and fruit.
My favorite things to cook
cookies and desserts are on the top! Another favorite quick breakfast or evening food is fruit smoothies!
My favorite family cooking traditions
About 5 years ago a friend shared a cinnimon bun recipe with me. Now we try to make it every Christmas and sometimes Thanksgivings.
My cooking triumphs
I figured out how to make a vegetarian egg-drop soup! It has real eggs, but no chicken stuffs. It's really great, my mom and I make it at least every couple weeks now.
My cooking tragedies
one time I tried to make my own fried eggplant dish... it turned out green and nasty... and my sister has never stopped reminding me about that incident. I had to throw it away.

My Favorite Sugar Cookies
They don't taste quite as sweet as the sugar cookies I'm used to. But they are simple and that's what I like about them. Be careful not to grease the sheet too much. Keep them thicker for softer cookies, and I only put them in for 7 minutes... 8min.... they get a bit too brown
