Slow Cooker Philly Steak Sandwich Meat

This was amazing! I couldn't stop eating it! I made only minor changes. I used a 3 1/2 pound chuck roast so I tripled the recipe. I only used 1/4 teaspoon of thyme, just because I don't care for it much. I used only 1/2 a teaspoon of hot sauce, but I could have gotten away with using it all. I also started out with one can of beer. I added a second about halfway through. We ate it on some bakery buns with Muenster cheesee, onions, peppers and mushrooms. Soooo good. Will be making again. Chicken Cordon Bleu II

This was fantastic! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I used lower sodium bouillon cubes and pinot grigio for the sauce, as I no nothing about wine and another reviewer said it was great. I had 8 chicken breasts and doubled the sauce. Doubling the sauce was not necessary and we used a lot of it. Will be making again for sure!

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

So good! I didn't measure anything because that means more dishes. I didn't add the salt, but other than that I mixed it up the same. The flavor is excellent! Great recipe!

Honey Dijon Pork Chops

Diamond Salad

I changed this up of course, because I cannot follow a recipe. That being said, I think it would be wonderful as written also. I made this after requesting ideas for blue cheese. I made a blue cheese vinaigrette and used that instead of Italian. I really loved the garbanzo beans in this salad and I've never had marinated artichoke hearts before and both these were wonderful! I will definitely be making this again!

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

This was really good. I marinated cubes of chuck roast for kabobs. It was well liked by all. I did cut back the garlic, as the large amount made me nervous. Thanks for the great recipe!

Sugar Cookie Icing

I had to add way more milk to it. 2 teaspoons doesn't go very far. But once I got it to a spreadable consistency, it worked great and it tastes great too!

Made almost as written. I did not have time to make the buns, so I bought some frozen grands and thawed them quickly in the oven, flattened them and then filled. I didn't cook the cabbage for a full 30 minutes, I didn't want it to get soggy or mushy. These were great, brushed with the butter after. I ate four at one time! Will definitely be making again.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

This was excellent!!!! I used homemade ranch dip mix and buttermilk, as I don't buy ranch dressing. I just grilled the chicken breasts whole, I didn't have time and was too lazy to make kabobs. I would definately not add any extra salt. It doesn't need it. I also didn't add the optional sugar, and I didn't see why it would need it. Will definately be making to take on the boat as kabobs. YUM!

Honey-Dijon Ham

This glaze is great. I've made it twice now. My BF who doesn't like dijon, even loves it. It does not taste like mustard. I like it because the leftovers aren't so sweet. I don't like sweet ham in my eggs or scalloped potatoes and ham. I don't change a thing!

Crispy Oven “Fried” Fish

I made this! It was great. I made it with walleye, because I live in Minnesota. :) I used panko instead of breadcrumbs, because that's what I had on hand. The cooking method is awesome! No more freezing fish in the winter because I don't want to stink up the house with grease! The filets came out nice and crispy. Thanks Don for the good, simple recipe! Cheers!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

I was really excited about these and then a little let down. They were super easy and that was great. But I thought they needed way more flavor. I made half a batch and still put in the whole jalapeno. I couldn't even tell there was any jalapeno, onion or cumin. I added salt after I tasted it, as I do not like overly salty foods. Next time I will use chicken broth as others suggested and add the onions and pepper more towards the end so there is some flavor.

Turkey Veggie Meatloaf Cups

Four stars because I couldn't follow the recipe. I'm too cheap to buy red pepper (at $4+ a pound), so I added carrots and mushrooms instead because I had them. Could of used some pepper and maybe even a little salt. I would play with some seasonings next time. But the muffin tin worked great and I will be making again! Thanks.

Easy Ham and Cheese Appetizer Sandwiches

I'm giving this 4 stars because of some things I did. First, I used honey ham which I don't like a whole lot in the first place. Second, I followed some of the other reviews and used Kings Hawaiian Rolls. The combination was way too sweet for my tastes. I made these 2 different ways. One according to the directions and one with a few changes for BF. I used yellow mustard and no onions in the sandwiches for BF. The original ingredients are MUCH better. I think there could be more mustard and less butter though. Next time I will use smoked ham and either make my own rolls or buy plain or wheat dinner rolls. Not sweet ones. Will be making again! Thanks!

Sandra McFadin's Best Ever Chicken Salad

This was my first time making chicken salad with chicken that didn't come out of a can. It was great! I'm giving it 4 stars because I didn't put the celery in. I don't like celery at all. I grilled my chicken since it was hot out and the grill was going anyway. The apple and onion added such great contrasting flavor! I ate it on fresh bakery buns. I could have ate it plain right out of the bowl! Thanks for the great recipe Sandra!! I will be making this again soon!

This was great! One of my guests didn't even like blue cheese and loved it! Next time I would use more hot sauce and less dressing. And probably more blue cheese crumbles. Loved it!
