This was so easy and smelled so wonderful while it was baking! I also followed the advice of another post and added the cream cheese filling!

Quick Start Breakfast Drink

Very quick and easy to make! Really good too. I think next time I will freeze my fruit so it's extra cold when I make it. I was able to sneak the wheat germ in and nobody knew it was there too!

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2012
Great base recipe. I made a few changes based on reviews I read. I skipped the crescent rolls and went with a "casserole" instead of a "pie" . I added a can of diced jalepeno peppers to the ground beef while browning and added a can of rotel to the mixture after adding the taco sauce. I layered the meat mixture, shredded cheese and crushed doritos and baked until cheese was melted. Then when I served it I put it on a bed of fresh lettuce, topped with sour cream and black olives . The family LOVED this recipe! Next time I think I'll add some black beans for extra fiber. Definitly a keeper!!

Mom's Ground Beef Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2012
Very easy and versatile recipe! I made a couple of changes based on what I had on hand and other reviews...I only used Cream of Mushroom soup and I added a can of rotel tomatoes. Instead of noodles I used Penne Pasta. The kids loved it and they were scraping the pan after dinner...definitly a keeper...especially for those crazy nights when school starts. This would be a great dish to assemble in the am before work, stick in the fridge and just pop in the oven when you get home....

Nacho Chip Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
Very yummy and versatile! I did change a couple of things per other reviews. I added onion when I browned the meat. I used 1 1/2 lbs instead of 1. I also used Fiesta cheese soup instead of the mushroom soup and I added 16 oz of salsa to the rotel tomatoes and added half to the meat mix and then topped the cheese with the rest. I also only put chips on the top and sides and I used tortilla chips instead of nacho cheese chips. I served this with sour cream on top and a nice crisp side salad....Really YUMMY!!
