Amish White Bread

This recipe did not turn out for me. The dough didn't mix well and turned into chunks of dough rather than one ball. It was also far too sweet for my taste. I make bread regularly but clearly this was not my best work and the flavor wasn't good enough to try again.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

I haven't even bought bread since I tried this recipe. I've made 4 batches exactly as the recipe is written. It has been perfect every time.

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

These were very good! They made a lot and were really filling. I did as some other posts suggested and sprayed the tops with just a bit of cooking spray before I baked them for a crispier texture. I will make this recipe again!

Marshmallow Fondant

I really liked this recipe and it tasted good unlike other fondants I've eaten. On one batch I used mini marshmallows and on the other batch I used marshmallow fluff. I preferred the mini marshmallow version. I felt it was less sticky and easier to work with in general. I also set up 2 stations on my counter top for kneading. One area had the powered sugar and the other had shortening. When my fondant started to stick on the powdered sugar side, I transferred my fondant for a couple of kneads on the shortening side which kept things less messy. That being said, I still got powdered sugar all over myself and the floor. Be prepared for some clean up time and move any rugs from the floor ahead of time I also had a very wide spatula to pick up the rolled out fondant when I was ready to transfer it on to the cake. It was a lifesaver! Overall making the fondant was a bit time consuming and a bit of a learning curve but well worth it for the taste and is much more budget friendly than buying it. I love the endless possibilities now that I've learned to make fondant!

Ground Beef Yorkshire

I used a bag of frozen veg instead of fresh and made it in a cast iron skillet so I could just put it right in the oven with the yorkshire pudding on top. Since the skillet was already hot, the pudding puffed up beautifully.

A delicious bread. I had to substitute nutmeg for the mace because I could not find it at the time I was making the bread. I will definitely make again this coming Christmas.

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

I used fresh sauteed mushrooms, substituted evap. milk for the cream and doubled the sauce. Doubling the sherry seemed like overkill so I only used 3 tbsp rather than 4. I also added onion and garlic. It turned out great! My husband told me it was a keeper and my 3 year old had seconds.

I didn't care for these. The muffins were super dense and the jam ran out of the muffins. I didn't think that the flavor made up for any of the negatives in this recipe. Not worth making again.

PHILADELPHIA Creamy Pasta Primavera

This was pretty good. I doubled the sauce but also had extra vegetable in the pasta. I added some shredded carrot and subbed yellow pepper for red. I also used fake crab instead of chicken. I used full fat ingredients. I will make this again.

This recipe turned out wonderful! I did have to change things a little though. I added more milk, probably almost 1/2 cup more. The amount of milk called for left me with a batter so dry it crumbled. I also added a tsp. of vanilla extract into the batter.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Roast

This was a very good recipe but definitely too acidic. I added about 1/3c. Of brown sugar when I thickened the sauce and that really made the difference to bring this recipe up to 4 stars.
