Brandi`s Little Bite Burger

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Be sure to make the tea biscuits Debbie's recipe on allrecipies or, your favorite tea biscuit recipe. Also, if you are using the suggested recipe, the tea biscuit could use some Parmasen Cheese or Romano Cheese, but something that will give it some flavor and would work well with your choice of BBQ Sauce, but also you could just keep it the way it is and have the burger itself do all the rest.

Tea Biscuits

I gave this a 5 star rating, not only because this recipe didn`t need ANY adjustments, but I made my own homemade patties (burgers) and didn`t have any hamburger buns, so I used this specific recipe and cut them a little thicker than usual and when they where done, I cut them in half like a bun for a hamburger dinner. They where great. I chose to add some Parmasean cheese and some shreaded Marble cheese to it as well. Perfect, it was a hit!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These work great. I followed the recipe almost exact, but instead replaced baking soda with baking powder for a more puffy cookie, but still very ymmy!!

Pierogies

I really did enjoy this easy recipe, it`s much better than going out to the store and buying pre-made because you don`t always know what goes in them and these ones take no time at all and very little ingrediants. The dough I agree, is a little bland and they don`t boil very nicely, but by adding a few things to fry them with makes all the difference. Even just frying them (no boiling) in some butter and a little seasoning works really well. Than, add some fried onions, bacon mushrooms and or pork you`ve got a great meal.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
I wasn't too sure about how the dough turned out, I found it was crumbly and didn't stick well togethe on the pan at first, but I seen on one of the reviews to freeze or chill the dough first, I might try that and see how it does? If I'm wrong could someone give me a newb cook/baker some pointers? I'm also wondering if it could be the amount of flour or substituting the almond extract for vanilla. I know others have done that and have been successful with thier adjustments. Tasty recipe though over all.
