Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2013
Fantastic! It was sooo simple to make...I followed just like it said...except next time I won't make my chicken in such small pieces b/c it almost looked minced...I added extra carrots & celery & it was great...I also used Hakka noodles & it turned out great too...I didn't have any marjoram. So i googled & found out i could substitute parsley or basil instead, but I didn't have that either so I skipped it all together & my soup was still so yummy! I can't wait to make this again!

Lemon Pie Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2013
I thought this was so easy to follow...I loved it! I followed exactly as stated, but cut it down in 1/2 b/c I didn't want to make so many bars. I thought it could have used a more lemony flavor so as previous comments mentioned....add more zest next time, but not more lemons as 1 person stated b/c it will make the mixture runny...my husband liked them...so yea! Also, I think I'll try a smaller pan...i think mine was too big making the filling spread out too thin...

Chicken Spaghetti III

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
I thought this meal was really easy to make...however, it did lack a little flavor & I'm not too sure if it's b/c I used another type of processed cheese instead of velveeta...it could also be b/c I omitted the chile & onions since my 1yr was eating w/me...next time I try this it will be w/a few added italian spices & velveeta...

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
I loved this! I can't believe I didn't make it sooner...I followed as it said except I cut down on the garlic powder since I'm not that much of a garlic fan plus I was already using bread crumbs that were of garlic & herb...my mushrooms were a bit burn, but that could have been b/c i sliced them thin? Either way this meal came out sooo delicious! I can't wait to make this for my friends...

Easy Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
This dish was sooo delicious! I only had fresh mushrooms on hand & actually no veggies & I loved it anyway! The fresh mushrooms added so much flavor to it. I followed exactly as it said. We couldn't get enough of it! I'm definitely making this again!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
I loved this dish!! I’ve moved to a country where I just can’t find most of my favorite foods. So, a lot of times I have to end up making most of them. I thought this dish was delicious & easy to follow. I omitted the green peas & chopped onions because I don’t like them. I didn’t use the celery & celery seed because I have yet to find them here. However, I added broccoli florets & corn along with the carrots & chicken. I couldn’t find chicken broth so I used vegetable broth which still tasted great. It doesn’t seem like unbaked pie crusts are sold here so, I had to make my own. I used the “bottom crust” found on this website from the recipe “Apple Pie in a Brown Paper Bag” for both the top & bottom crust which tasted yummy! I was soo happy it came out good since my cooking skills are a work in progress!

Indian Cauliflower

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
We just moved to Bombay from Texas. So, I'm trying to learn how to make indian dishes for my indian husband & this one was a winner. He really liked it said it tasted like it was from a restaurant! However, he preferred to have the sauce all mixed up w/the cauliflower & I used garam masala & red chili for spice & flavor. I also left out the lettuce...this dish is definitely a keeper!

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
My Indian husband loved this dish! I used 1 green chili instead of the jalapeno. I also left out the bell peppers b/c he's not a fan of them. I didn't have any heavy cream so I googled & found that i could use 1/3 cup of butter & melt it into 3/4 cup of milk & wisk. It must have worked b/c the dish was yummy!

Easy Indian Style Okra

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
Unfortunately, my Indian husband did not like this dish at all. I followed it exactly as stated...he said normally Indians prefer to have their okra deep fried in Besan (gram flour). He suggested if I make this again; I should slice the okra length ways make a rub of the ingredients & smear it on the side that's cut open & fry in oil. I also added garam masala for flavor....Lets see if making it his way makes a difference....

Indian Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
I made this for my husband who is Indian....I'm American & we are living in Bombay right now...he didn't find it that great...I wasn't able to find heavy cream so I had to make my own to use...I'm not too sure if this was the cause of it not tasting great...I'd like to think not...I also used basmati rice & I ended up adding some chili powder for spice...
