I cannot in good faith give this 5 stars. sure, the flavor is good with some additions, but that is about all. The dough is a sticky mess! I had to shape it on waxed paper, then place it on the parchment and peel off the waxed paper. This resulted in a lot of wasted dough. Using whole pistachios is another mistake. When you go to cut the cooked dough, the whole pistachios breaks the dough apart. I added extra almond flavoring and orange zest. Without this, you have a very dry, dull and bland biscotti. I won't make this again. What a disappointment. I will stick with Emirel's recipe from the food network that I tried a week prior. Excellent results!
