Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Chocolate Scotcheroos

Everyone loves these bars. My 93 year old mother has been making these since the 1950s. I made them for the first time in many years and I won't wait that long again. Highly recommend these.

Tasty Seasoned Oyster Crackers

I made two batches of these. The first was as written and was excellent, the second batch I add a half teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Those who like to kick it up a bit it added a little zip.

Hearty Hamburger Soup

This is my "go to" recipe when I want homemade soup. I've made this as written and also with my own variations with what I had on hand and it's always good. My favorite variation is to add a diced green pepper, rice and an extra can of tomatoes.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

I've made this twice. The first time I took the advice of one reviewer and cooked it to 290 degrees and it had a burned taste to it. This past Christmas I made it again ande cooked it to 285 degrees and it turnedb out perfect. Everyone loved it.

Cream Cheese Spritz

These turned out wonderfully. Rich, flavorful and the dough is very easy to work with. I also used almond extract because that's what I had on hand. Hint: be sure that your cookie sheet has coolded completely before squeezing out a second batch or the dough won't stick. I used silpat liners which made it really easy for the dough to stick coming out of the press.
