Buttercream Icing
I JUST made this icing to use for decorating cut out cookies and embellishing with a textured decorators mat. I will never use another icing recipe again i followed it to a T and it's fantastic!

Slow Cooker Stuffing
THIS IS EXCELLENT!!! I followed the recipe to a T, taking note that the chicken broth is a variant ingredient. I had two 32 oz boxes of broth and wound up using only about half of one box (2 C) if not a little less. I used a slightly moister bread cube (not like a crouton dry type) and I cooked mine for aprox 4 hrs, left the lid off for about the last 20 min and it was perfect. I think if you use a more dry bread cube you will need more chicken broth, regardless add a little at a time as it is easier to add liquid than take it away. I also had extra bread cubes on hand so if it was too moist i could add some more bread as this would help "take away" some liquid. I had people who don't generally eat stuffing trying this at our Thanksgiving dinner and LOVING it! I even got requested to make it for Christmas dinner. The only complaint i have about this stuffing is that there wasn't any left over.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole
I JUST made this today for dinner, and was unsure what the husband (who's not a casserole fan) and two picky kids would have to say. But i figured i would give it a try as we all love chicken cordon bleu but the husband (who usually makes it) hates making it. Well, when i took it out of the oven the kids came in and said "smells good like regular chicken cordon bleu" so with high hopes i plated it up. Both kids and the husband liked it and said i could definitely make it again. I love finding something they ALL like that i can add to my recipe box. One note: I took the advice of a lot of reviewers and cut the milk that i mixed with the soup down to 1/2 a cup from 1 cup. This turned out beautifully, it was not runny at all and tasted fantastic, AND i ran out of bread crumbs but had a bag of seasoned salad croutons in the cupboard that i smashed into crumbs and coated the rest of the chicken with. It worked great! So if you like chicken cordon bleu definitely give this a try, i don't think you'll be disappointed.
